My only vote would be Disturbed- The Sickness

Every song on that album kicks ass. I was never much into FleetwoodMac, they were a little before my time.

I think record labels have a MAJOR influence on an artists/Bands music but the biggest changes seem to be in the rock/metal industry. I think they all end up toning it down once they get there.

Never heard all of that album (The Sickness). But if I had to vote on albums I loved, and do not kill me Metallica mobs, but the Black Album. I liked every song, sell out or not, lol. I also thought the album Seasons by Sevendust rocked (One of my favorite bands).

I liked the Black album although it was the start of their demise... Nothing Else Matters is one of my favorite Metallica songs.

My vote on the best Metallica album would have to be And Justice For All.

Sevendust rocks. We were going to do Black as a cover but we have decided to not do any covers at all and stick with the originals although we still play it for fun.

Yeah, doing a cover on Sevendust would have been cool. But, it sounds like you are trying to make it into the big music scene, so thus, stick with the originals.

As far as Metallica goes, the Justice album rocked, and the And Justice For All show in Seattle (sh*t Binge and Purge) was awesome. That was a great show, watched it on Youtube. My favorite songs off of the Justice album was And Justice for All and One, but every song rocked.

Metallica forever! Lol.

Peace out, GuitarAnatomy.

Trying to make it big? Hell I just want to get out and be heard!

My goal is to write enough songs to record a demo and do the local tour.

We have a local circuit that actually lets the heavy metal bands play. Doesn't pay well, but it's a good way to build a following. I know most of the bands and their material and I'm pretty confident that we will eventually be headlining the shows.

That is if we ever get a bassist.. We have a guy that's supposed to audition tonight though!

I'm a performer and the thrill of being on stage is rewarding enough for me. The only thing that excites me about making it big isbeing able to play for massive audiences. Now theres excitement!

I have to agree with that one man, the one thing that excites me about playing is the idea of a large audience. I mean, I do not want to go pro, but I still want that large audience somehow, lol.

Look, it is hard to get noticed. But a bit of local airtime on the radio and you get a boost in fans. Hopefully the guy auditioning to play bass for you is good, help the band out.

I am contemplating the starting of a band by mid-next year. By then I should be good enough, I will be the lead guitarist, lol. I am not doing rhythm. A lot of times rhythm guitarists do not get attention, which would suck. We forget about the Stone Gossard's, James Hetfield's, Dexter Holland's, etc... So yeah, I am going to play lead. I will probably mess everything up the first couple of shows on stage (Shy and nerves).

Well, good luck with the band man.

I'm not worried about attention..

Besides, the rythm guitar is the backbone..pull Hetfield out of the mix and see how great it sounds, lol...

If there are 2 guitarists in a band they don't neccesarily have to be labeled as "lead" "rythm" anyways.

For instance, Black Label Society, Nick plays alongside Zakk and he gets alot of recognition. He says so himself. They both take turns at leads too :)

Cool. But unless I am bad at lead in the next 6 months, I am not doing rhythm. But yeah, look at Lamb of God, Mark Morton and Willie Adler get even attention usually. They are both great metal guitarists.

You pull out the rhythm and you lose the song, I have seen cover bands do it with Metallica. All you hear is the bass backing, hurts the song. :x

Lol. I do not know much about BLS, but Zakk is cool. Saw him solo with Slash, dang they can play.

Peace out, GuitarAnatomy.
