General Music Chat

...we have tryed to pot up a new song ...The Song of Megido. It seems to be there but we can not hear it or the previous song. Also checked out others profiles but can not hear their posted music either ? Does anyone have an idea about why this is? Ta

Make sure it's an MP3, and that it has an *.mp3 extension.

Is it just me or does it have an operatic quality?

Well that's the problem. You're only supposed to "pot" them when you write and play them.

...so can you guys hear them ??? We can not. My wife did convert the recorded CD to Mp3 just like she did last time but she will check it again when she returns. Lat night she reposted them both again and still we can not hear them or anyone else's. We put a query into the administration and are waiting to hear.

Vamp the song sounds great,, I just think you have to plug in your speakers.

Nothing worse than not being able to hear yourself play. (talk to the sound person)

3 things you always want to update...

1) flash player
2) java
3) whatever browser you are using. (I prefer firefox, but opera is ok as well)

Then you can always try to update your player itself.
(I had to update VLC or as of a day ago, nothing would play at all)

It's most likely your computer needing some updates and not something your wife did or didn't do.

Song is good, solid beat and well executed... I do think the vocal presence needs to come out more... (Some of the lyric was hard to discern... )

It has that desert feel, to it and reminds me of something that Jim Morrison might have done, if he'd stuck around...

Great Job on the solo sections and the features (I.e bass, drums)

... ok, it was a problem... I did upload the file correctly...but...
I seem to like Old computers which makes it hard sometimes to cope with the new technology but it is so much fun to sit down and crack your head about it...lol.

Ok for those with old clunkers like the one we have... (hey they work great) here is what I did... we have a tiger 10.4.11 PPC G4 Mac... I checked everything and it turns out I had everything uploaded of everything except "Flash Player" (special thanks to Jahva) so after 2 hours of trying to find the right one because the new flash player is supported only by intel computers it could not possibly work... so after looking all over for an old version I found the Flash player 10 (full version) or Flash 9 works... Flash 10.1 will not be good anymore for such system because Macs 10.5 over do not have PPC systems and Flash players 10.1 over don't either.

We did hear from the admin. and they also said it could by Flashplayer.
