you guys might want to read some dispassionate history on the collapse of the roman empire circa 300 thru 600 AD
this is more the likely scenario at least as far as empires go.

What do you call millions of Americans who have purchased military class weapons and who believe it is fixin' to come down? No, they don't have a lot of meetings or leaders. They have no agenda other than protecting themselves and their families - they believe in freedom. That's what drives the govt crazy.

There is another kind of milita too, that people are finally noticing. Even the Dept of Education has it's own "intervention (swat) teams". As does the Bureau of Fisheries and Hatcheries, Post Office, Homeland Sec, BATF, FBI etc ad aphabetium.

Those people are mercenaries organized as a paramilitary militia to serve and protect the state. There are hundreds of thousands of them training constantly and looking for a chance to be as macho as they can. They now include veterans of street fighting in Iraq and have military grade weapons. SWAT teams are used routinely for tasks like serving warrents for unpaid parking tickets...

The inner city gangs are thought to have crew serverd weapons in LA and Chicago, maybe Detroit. Both cities have enlisted gang banger assistance on 'neighborhood projects.' Gang bangers outnumber the cops by a substantial margin and politicians are nothing if not opportunists. Is somebody choosing up sides?

And dig it - well fed? Please. Americans currently eat too much. When Z-Day comes Americans will wake up to the fact that the trucks aren't running and there is only three days worth of food supply on hand in the average city. We will not be eating too much then.

This racial Reichstag Fire nonsense they are playing with could kick it off, the various nations we're kicking around overseas could pull off a big stunt, the currency ultimately will collapse, probably sooner rather than later. I call that dicey.

It's a tinderbox, waiting for a match. We are reliving 1914 and the Archduke is getting into his car to ride over to Sarejevo. Only this time 'the lights are going out here, not just Europe.

As a Texan, I can tell you that it won't take much more pushing from the Fed before we are fed up enough to fight. We prefer freedom over life itself.

It's hard to believe how uninformed some people are to what is happening all around them. But if everyone saw what is on the horizon, it wouldn't have gotten this far. A lot of folks will wake up some day to find that they have sold their kids into slavery through their ignorance of what is going on in America today. Whoever receives a prophet will receive that prophets reward.

It is difficult to tell who the enemy will be. I haven't noticed anything rational going on lately so the whole ball of wax may just unravel.

As to ammo? Not a problem. You'd be surprised how many of us own swords.

There will be bullets as long as there is money or goods available to trade for bullets.

There is a reason why we were an independent nation who decided to join the USA, and there is a reason why we will lead if a revolution becomes necessary.

Once a month, there are about 2,000 people who gather at the State Capitol building in Texas to demand secession. Most Texans don't support that at the moment, but we reserve the right to change our minds.

We have the most diversified economy in this nation. We are leaders in high-technology (the computer chip was invented here), produce more military weaponry and technology plants, control the national strategic reserves and energy, the headquarters of space exploration, and we used to have the highest per-capita rate of millionaires (might still, not sure) so financing isn't a problem. The Texas National Guard is the largest standing military outside of the US military and we have the largest Army base.

We don't want a fight...but if a fight comes we are prepared.

Also you fail to mention why it is hollow point nor the damage done to humans and animals when it is "used safely". The Constitution does state that everyone is in the militia and it is their responsibility to overthrow a government that has become tyrannical.
