Four days ago :?

With all the changes I've considered taking down the NKF photos music video ETC.
We have all but given up any active search for a new front man in decision to make a go of it as a four piece.
I really don't need the extra photo and music space of a full membership right now.
And no ... the money is not a core issue.

What would you do?

Sans, Band Mix won't take down anything you have posted. They will just start limiting what you can post.
The only reason I still like this site is because of folks like you.
Also the idiots that do come through.
Many new posters don't remember Ratsass, and even Chaeya.
I do.
This site often spawns friendships that go beyond music.
As nasty as I can become, even folks like Jimmy Danger are valued here. I don't like his politics, but I have to love him for going out and playing his heart out.
You do what you think is right. As far as finding other musicians that might work with you,,,, It's all a crap shoot.
Good luck my friend, and God bless. Happy Easter!!!!!!

I didn't take this as you're leaving Bandmix. More like NKF has reached it's conclusion and you have a new project to promote.
Start anew! Include NKF in your bio as former members of. Maybe include a picture. It is part of your history.
But the new band should be its own. Breathe some new life onto your BM page and website. You'll still do your searches from time to time. jmo.

YEAH WHAT HE SAID !!! I thought the band was "Jericho March" now...?

Just rewrite a little and stick your new band name in there.
No need for a paid membership, unless you are looking for someone..

No need to discard the baby with the bath water, even if it's gulf waters with some oil in it yet..lol

Thanks for the input.

No ... no intent to leave. Good friends here. Good support, technical information and mostly the honest critique is very helpful.

We (the four of us) are JERICHO MARCH and are still doing the music from the NKF era + new stuff and covers.

Still, we are not the same band that has been here and I feel like our page should reflect that fact.

Hopefully we will have our photo shoot and some demo music recorded soon that I can refresh the page with.

I have decided to go ahead and renew my premium.
I feel like Bandmix deserves my support ( meaning you guys )
Also there are occasion when I private message folk to show my support in a more personal fashion or to pick their brains directly on technical stuff.
I have come to realize that Bandmix is not just my "personal" space. But a part of our mission as a whole.

Happy and blessed Easter to you all.

The only thing that not being a premier member here will effect is your ability to contact members of this site. I pay appox. 2/3 of the months. Right now my account has been expired for 24 days. I'll probably renew it this week just out of guilt LOL!

I remember and miss Ratsass and Cheaya they were both awesome as well as Craig Maxum and some of the others that have come and gone! I think the political discussions on this site can get to you! All in all I think you folks are awesome!

I still communicate with Chaeya, Craig Maxim and Ratsass on Facebook. All the time I've been on Bandmix my membership has lapsed only a few months when I was broke.
We just added a sax player through Bandmix. And occasonaly I get band invites from Bandmix.

Yes.

Craig & Jeff are doing well.
And Chaeya has recently published one of her books.

Mrs. Mary is there too with her flute.
(many of our Bandmix friends are there )

If any of you decide to join us on Facebook be sure to look up the JERICHO MARCH page and "like".

I've never joined because I don't see any real value in it. The chances of actually finding a good bandmate here are slim to none; which makes it a poor investment to pay on monthly.

But I like the discussion board, even though I can't PM anyone. Where else can I hang out with christians, satanists, and pagans all together at the same time (besides church in Oregon)?

I'm going to go "like" Jericho March now....

(returns to say that a band called Jericho March didn't come up in a search on Facebook)

You should have said - guitarists, pianists, bassist, drummers, horn players,
flute players, harmonica players, music writers and of course vocalist.
To name a few.[/b]

Where else can you go to get flamed over something you never said or did? It is all very entertaining. :)

If there is anything I have learned from my time at bmix'd, it's "take it all with a grain of salt" and "consider the source".

Plenty of dummies around here, myself included.

Oh and the ever-present, "if you don't have a thick skin, time to grow one".
