TSA/Homeland Security have already been violating the 4th Amendment at will and so few complain only because they aren't the ones flying.

Sure looks like a revolution OR a totalitarian police state is coming

I used to be a correctional officer at a Federal facility. People are strip searched when they are entering a area whith access to the population.
The artical did not state wether he had previous drug or weapon charges
that would have warranted the search. They made him seem like Clark Kent
driving down the road. Do you really think officers like doing that search?
Its their job to protect themselves, other officers and the other inmates
from weapons and drugs. Drugs and weapons are found in orafices all day long out there.
Its a nasty job and those that do it should be thanked.[/b]

It's only AFTER they bust you. You can't be arrested for not wearing a seatbelt, but if you have warrants ...
Thsi is the least offensive of the various things that the USA Police State can do to you these days!

No thanks!
I've made one visit to a minimum security facility (to visit someone), that's as close as I ever want to get (the time I got thrown in the police station jail in my hometown during high school for having a party doesn't really count!)

Do this job, I dare you.

That has absolutely nothing to do with this thread.

How a convicted criminal is treated has no bearing on how an innocent law-abiding citizen should be treated, unless you think not wearing a seatbelt is truly criminal behavior....or traveling by airplane...or crossing from Texas into New Mexico....or driving a semi in Tennessee.

These activities have all become "searchable" at the Federal level by people who are not officers nor received law-enforcement training without any suspicion of criminal behavior whatsoever on the part of citizens.

I was under the impression that the incarcerated and convicted lost many of their rights.

I figure that if ya wind up in the pen, its cause ya broke a law bad enough, that the crime imposed on other peoples rights and safety to pursue their own happiness in a legal manner. That being said... I have no sympathy for the inconveniences that inmates have to suffer.

Cool, do they get guard dogs and Lugers too?

Nice SS uniforms to inspire fear and loathing..
