It comes right up when I go to your page, Jimmy.

So Jimmy since you are a prog-punk rocker, maybe we should start a genre for you, a PRUNK ROKKER!

Go PRUNK! GO!

Jimmy, it's on the player for me.
Pretty good, but yes I do believe the mix needs some tweaking.

The lead(ing) guitar is pretty loud and dry to my ears. Maybe it's supposed to be?

Good job so far.

Thanks Joseph and John. Prunk, I love it!

Yeah Zip I can't wait to mix it proper, hopefully soon. Thanks for listening everyone.

Wow . . . I guess BandMix doesn't like me?
Which sucks, because I'd really like to hear this

Now I just checked a few other bandpages here, and I can't see anyone's tracks

That is weird. You are able to listen to other MP3's on BM? If you'd like, send me a request to jimmydanger56@yahoo.com and I'll send you the MP3.

PSSSS

UPDATE your wma or VLC or whatever you use to play music.

There is a new set of codecs out and when you update the player, that's how you get them.

After your problems will leave as quickly as they got here..

Sound good Jimmy I also can't tell much difference
from the last recording of it I heard. You know what I
like about it is the snappy sound your drummer gets
out of his snare, sounds as snappy as my drum machine.
Of course it's just drumming, and he's following the guitar
player and you led him well.

LD: I added a guitar track using the middle position pickup on the Paul, which gave it a bit more brightness. We also fixed several bass flubs and applied some compression. But it still needs to be properly mixed.

Etu: Very cool! I wish the picture was bigger. He's one of my favorites, very under rated.

Nice Work Jimmy... You guys probably have the closest rendition I have ever heard, next to the original. : ) BTW The Break @ time 2:00 + where you are hammering the same note , were you on click track for that? I noticed it was a tad sped up in certain parts of it... Not sure if you intended that...

Yes, I love his work. Consider myself very fortunate to have lived and studied with him back then.

PD, my drummer played a click with his sticks but I had a very hard time keeping in time, I was always speeding up. The whole part is just weird, we spent a lot of time on that middle part.

I have recently faced a similar situation... In my case it was a phrase-lick in one of my own songs; I kept stepping on the timing of the meter.. The best work around I could think of was for me to back off (hear objectively) from the intended dramatic effect of the lick... (We tend to get excited) and focus soley on the mechanical aspect (timing) . Lo and behold, it worked like a charm (And It still maintained the effect I had initially intended) .. I guess the trick is to let the count carry that work through the section for the player...rather than have the player drive through it...
