I wasn't asking much and it was in great shape, with no flaws or dings etc.
The guy shows up and goes in "negotiation mode".
I said "price is firm". He said "it's a cash sale, nothing is firm".
I slapped the guitar on a table just enough to make a paint chip form.
I asked him, "anymore delusions you care to voice"?
He said "you don't expect me to buy that now, do you"?
I told him that I would appreciate it if he just left before he got smacked with the guitar.
He complained bitterly until I slammed the door in his face.
Now I still have that guitar and am glad i do. The paint chip doesn't bother me at all.
The moral of the story is if you don't like something about the transaction, feel free to get up out of here and do not come back.
If you can't follow directions or feel like you want to make up your own set of rules, guess again. I am never so desperate that I have to put up with some jokers' behavior and sell them something I own.
(I'd rather throw it in the chipper and send ya a pic of what's left.)

not sure why you would take his stubbornness out on a perfectly good guitar.
wouldn't have been just as easy to repeat the price until he paid or left?

since I see this thread isn't dead..
I just wanna defend why this thread turned so dumb, and why I think I'm in the right here..
So, here's a synopsis of what basically transpired:
1) Guy offers to sell me his gear
2) I ask if he can e-mail me so we can dialog about the deal, i.e. what
exactly he has
3) guy gets all offended that I'm asking to e-mail, and accuses me of accusing HIM of trying to scam me....somehow?
Sooooo
This is like, someone offers you on bandmix to sell you a Les Paul
You ask, "hey cool, can you shoot me an e-mail & let me know what you've got?"
And doode then turns on you and accuses you of saying he's trying to cheat you...
Do you guy not see the STUPIDITY here?!?!?!?!?!?
Can someone please take a stab at explaining why I am inn the wrong here?
