I decided it was a mistake all round, but I finished it this morning and at the moment I have no where else to hang it.

i suppose It will have no more meaning to the gentlemen here than a string of pearls to an ape.
As a former violinist I absolutely love this! One question is this you playing and if so which instrument?
oh no,
performing at this level would take at least 2 weeks of constant rehearsal, at least for me it would.
I have far too many ideas, to turn them out as finished performances.
If god willing they are ever performed they will be performed by trained musicians.
So did you engineer or produce it? If not why did you post it?

I generally like your music and I disagree with JC on many things music related but in this case he is dead on. You sound like an arrogant azzwipe. Reel it in. Take that log out of your own eye bro.
What is arrogant here Johnny? Me handing Mr JC his ass after he made baseless ignorant accusations about the "intentions of my music,. I just feed morons back what they deserve... Thanks for calling me an asswipe..It was uncalled for... Now go f**k yourself.
Just to be completely clear so there are no misunderstandings, this would be the [ sounds like an arrogant azzwipe] part:
"I hope you sue your music teachers..They need a serious ass-whipping. For the record, (Just to annoy you), I'm posting this Wiki definition of a Sonata... And please spare us the agony of your pious counter-points... You cannot win... Your piece started as an exposition, and it leaves the listener hanging.. Be a real man and just admit it...and then move on to improve your compositional skills."
It's ok PD, I forgive you. We all have room to grow in our faith and sometimes our human frailties just squirt out all over other people. What would Jesus do here? Suggested reading: Matthew 5:39

Johnny.. What i said in retort to you, was uncalled for on my part... I have followed your posts and music, and truthfully I hold a lot of respect for you. I was being an ass-wipe to you. ..I sincerely apologize.
(And man does Jeff have it right.. we go off and regret it all later LOL!)
Ok Mr JC... I wanna call a truce! And for the record... Just because I don't feel that your song is full classical form (I.e Sonata) doesn't meant I thought it was 'bad'. When I said it didn't 'move", I probably should have clarified that it seemed "unfinished" with respect to the potential it offered with respect to classical form. (Which is why I asked the question earlier if it was from a bigger composition. ) I know much more about classical form than I let on in this forum.. . Also, there is no way to account for classical form in a POP and ROCK genre, which is why you don't catch evidence of it in my songs.
I dont mind that you hate my songs... But to dismiss each others efforts, is not helpful or constructive.
Truce?
Peace- Out

It's ok to be upset, just don't let it run your life.
There are plenty of other better stuff to get upset over.

Realize that sometimes that type of thing is related to your creative streak.
If you can redirect that energy to include it in your music, you are good to go. That turbulence can make a hell of a tune.
