Why wouldn't they want you?

The only ones that get any trouble at all, are the pretentious ones.

You seem very well mannered and am quite sure that you will enjoy it here as much as the rest of us do.

Hey Guys.... I've noticed I've been posting a few and responding but really never getting aknowleged... Like I read in another post, kinda looks like a clique going on and I just have to get you guys to warm up to me. I'm from Long Island, NY and I used to tour with a band called "Spellbound" in the 80's. We were doin' pretty well till my Vocalist started getting carried away with the "white stuff".... We eventually went our seperate ways and I got married in '87, never looking at my equipment again....sold everything.

Well... my 2nd wife made the mistake of buying me a guitar and amp last X-mas and I haven't put it down since!

After locking myself in a room for a few months, practicing up to 6 hours a day doing finger exercises, scales, arpeggios, etc... I finally was brave enough to start my own project in my basement.. after going through quite a few musicians over the months, I feel I've honed in on the perfect personell. Each one is a seasoned musician that has toured and recorded... looking to just do local gigs and have fun with this.

Last weeks rehearsal sounded a little tighter:

I Don't Know

Children Of The Grave

Crazy Train

Highway Star

Only been with the singer and bassist one other time.... been with the drummer for about a month. This is the quickest I've ever seen a band get together and hash out about 28 songs in 2 weeks. As you can tell, of course we need to tighten them up and perfect our parts as well as my back up vocals! We will be ready to gig in about a month.

The name of the band is "PanikAtack" and you can go onto :

Here

to see upcoming gigs and future amateur videos...

My equipment is:

2 Les Pauls, 1 American Deluxe American series Fender Strat, 1 30 Watt Line6 for my office, 1- 150 watt Line6 Combo w/2 Celestions, One 4x12 Stereo Cabinet w/Celestions and various effects Pedals.

You're not being ignored, man.

Hey.

I'm a studio/touring blues guitarist based in London, UK.

I'm currently working with Laura Nauda and have a few projects in the pipeline for the new year.

I've uploaded a track on my profile if you want a feel for my playing..

I'm only 19, so right now I'm just trying to feel out the industry.. I figure hiring myself out is the best way of meeting new and different artists, getting out there and getting used to touring, dealing with managers etc..

I'm having alot of fun.

Feel free to message me if there are any projects you think I might be interested in.

I've worked on many different types of material, from country (Kelly Lee) to Glam Rock (Peepshow) and everything in between.

Keep it sleazy!

B.

Blondie, I listened to your track, which you labeled a blues demo.
But "You Really Got Me" is rock.
You might want to re-name it, to get the right people to listen to it.
:)
Have you ever ordered coffee, and when you took a sip, you found out it was tea?
.
Anyway, it sounded ok to me . . .
. . . keep playing . . . keep recording . . .

Ah it's not "you really got me" though.. although it does sound a bit like it, although the phrasing is off.

It's just a rythm track I started playing, and then put a couple of solo's over the top

I guess it sounds kinda rock'n'roll though. I'll change the title.

Hello, welcome to Band Mix, SpeakMusic.

You can tell us about yourself, everyone here usually does talk about themselves. Do not be shy, lol. I do not remember though posting here about myself, I think I skipped that part. Whoops.

By the way, when I saw your picture I had a feeling you were a model. It was the type of picture and look that tipped me off. I have been wanting to model myself, but being that I am not quite as tall as one and that I have to work on my skin first, I cannot.

Well, best of luck to you in your music ventures!

Peace out, GuitarAnatomy.

Welcome, Speakmusic.
I think you'll find a wide variety of people here; all ages, all experience levels, and many styles.
Many of the current group of continual posters now are into heavy metal and hard rock.
Not me, but there is often interesting topics to respond to.
I see you're a singer w/ years of experience. Do you have recording capabilities?
