3-Haley ...there is nothing wrong with being a redneck...most are honest and tell you what they think and if proven wrong they admit it and carry on without a grudge. They tend not to be petty and instead prefer to be real. I grew up on the Nebraska Wyoming Border, fed 300 head of cattle every morning regardless of the weather, got my first rifle at 9 yrs., learned to hunt, butcher and ride real horses. Growing up I had 5 horses of my own over that period. Never wore a cowboy hat but I guess in many ways I am a redneck in some ways. I would rather have a horse than a computer and know that technology should be a tool and not a crutch. Thanks

AirViking...good post. It seems it is like trying to speak upon philosophical issues to a kind of Kindergarten in a "home" for musicians here. There is a very "common" herd of ego fueled "musicians" who trot from one direction to the other ... obviously confused, unhappy and out of touch with the reality around them. Some do not pretend however...the Paperdog is one and Etu is another, but others seem to prowl the posts beating their puny chests while exercising their large mouths with puny brains in command. It is upsetting for them to think or concieve of a nonmusical post and all the requirements it brings with it. Do not be discouraged for it is like becoming angry at mosquitoes as they swarm about you. My wife and I have become amused as they misapply their newly acquired "goggle" knowledge and proudly pontificate. They are a plague which come with the territory of posting here. Existing in their obvious stupor, afraid to upset what they somehow percieve as their position and secretly terrified that the curtain of the internet be lifted to reveal who they really are and their failed miserable and unhappy lives. Some are even frightened to show pictures of themselves while most flip flop in response to the other's postings. It is tragic, amusing and a grim example of exactly how "unawake" they are as they thrash about entombed in their ignorance. But there are some who are vastly superior to others in both thought and musical ability. But modern technology has allowed the pretenders to don the robe of the musician as they sample, loop and edit their drool "creations". The are like little Igors running about in a childcare castle without a Frankenstein to serve. They need attention and Love but no one cares. Soon they will fade into the oblivion of the web of reality that is being spun about them. Take heart and do not give in to their "noise". There are some who listen and they more often than not are silent. Ta

Dang dude you look younger. Your all grown up! I like you too. I don't however like your political belief's. You have posted several things on this forum that got my nervous tick going LOL! Just because we have different political agenda's doesn't mean we have to be enemies! Agree to disagree as the cliche' goes! I have to admit I like your guitar better than I like you. That doesn't make me a bad guy does it?

I should have thought that the reason was obvious by now even to the most "slumbering. I POSTED in an effort and with the HOPE that I may find like-minded "musicians" who are "aware" of the "Reality" of the world at this moment in time...and...who desire and feel driven to "do what they do" ie play music and join with others to actually prepare, resist and help awaken while using their "Art" and "talent" to express and realize these goals. Walk the Talk etc. etc. Unfortunately it seems that this is proving more difficult because of "diversions"..."other's egos" ... "misinterpretations" ... "simple lack of understanding" ...and inability to process, read, or exercise critical thought and such. In short musician/artists despite their sensitivity and artistic intellect seem to suffer the same afflictions that are destroying the masses. What I write here is not poetry by any definition ...look it up on google. I do write poetry and even have had some published but do not use it in internet chat forays. I am not like the rest of you... after all many of you here have been busy slagging me off telling me how I am not like you ? Everyone is entitled to pontificate in a "forum". A friendly exchange of even opposing views should in fact be welcomed but in order to accomplish this the participants must have control of their own egos, ask intelligent and well meant questions, avoid insults and attempt to understand while exhibiting as much sophistication and politeness as they can. But ... to do this one must think, process and put themselves into perspective to others, the world and themselves. So do not compare myself or others to yourself... ever. Try to learn from them. I tire of the few Chat Hags who seem to be incapable of actual intelligent discussion and who constantly display a childish game of one-up-manship and their inabilities proudly to others with no apparent embarrassment. I have looked at the other threads/posts to learn more about what is in fact out there and I have been disappointed in that respect. With our nation failing because of economic, wartime, energy, etc. Why can't we still unite under the fact that we know who the people responsible are.

Then you should feel betrayed about what our current president has done to us. He promised to reduce the deficit by half or resign, make government more transparent, he promised that congress or himself wouldn't slip corporate welfare into laws, he promised more open laws, he promised that the public would have 5 days to read any bill that came across his desk, he promised to televise lobbyist meetings, he promised that when there is a new tax bill that you will know the names of the corporations sponsoring the bill. If he would have done those things he might be considered the best president since (insert your favorite president's name). There wouldn't be a person in the world who could have complained. I know why people voted for him, all these promises would have helped America out a lot.

You've more than likely dropped the ball on trying to perused someone that maybe their choice wasn't the best, or that everything they wanted in obama turned out to be a lie. Shame on you for bastardizing people instead of just showing people the facts, like you are somehow happy that obama, our president, has worked America backwards for 4 years. I should also remind you republicans that Bush was the worst president since Carter. So you guys don't have THAT much room to complain.
