I wish it was for music but a local radio celebrity found out about my website www.levitynews.com and invited me to talk about it on his program this Friday. I will spend 6 to 12 minutes on the air some time between 4 and 5 pm central time on 1510am. It is simulcast on the internet at www.1510.com. Speaking of levitynews.com there's new content on there tomorrow March 1. First two months we've had at least 113 visitors. Somebody in Israel of all places loves us. Now if I can just get a CD recorded and launch a music website...

Actually there is a public radio station in K.C. that has an annual fund drive where bands can play live in their studio for about a half-hour. I've brought in pre-recorded material (the songs on my Bandmix profile) before a few times and got some airplay. Listeners bid to have the bands play a 2 hour show. The radio station keeps the bid money, the bands get a half hour of airtime, the bidder gets the band for a 2 hour show, win-win-win. I got bids both times I went on the air. I'm not sure I want to perform live on the radio there. The live bands sound pretty lame, not sure if they even got any bids that way. EMBARASSING.

In case anybody tuned in I was on the radio today 1510am simulcast www.1510.com Lot of fun. Talked about Levitynews.com. I believe I went on about 4:15pm central time. The DJ is going to occasionally plug levitynews.com. Now if I can just record my CD....

Thanks guys. This first year it's a labor of love. If it somehow grows exponentially then we'll see what happens. I've created crazy funny things with words all my life. I never thought I'd actually publish anything but I'm not getting any younger so I'm putting it out there. My next creative goal is a serious CD. I've got a line on some people capable and willing to try it.
