what have I missed?

Also, the only thing that gets to me on this site sometimes (and I had to take a break from it because of this) is the fact that there are so many musicians and really no one talking about music.

I really get off to music theory, but it seems like I'm the only one.
Not mad at anyone for it, but it's things like this drama that are intolerable.

Hope you calm down off of whatever you are on and remember, this is the internet, for all you know none of us are even real. No reason to get mad and what your computer screen is saying.

Start a theory thread and I'll jump right in.

I'm at a point where I feel a breakthrough coming in my understanding of how scales and modes and such work. I get the bottom line but I think there is a sort of key (no pun intended) to all this.

eg - I finally figured out the natural minor, melodic minor and harmonic minor differ by very small degrees - sort of descending based upon number of flats.

If you don't like the stuff posted in general chat than just go post it in the other sections. I notice how hypocritical you all get when it DOESN'T HAVE TO DO WITH MUSIC.
This is general chat and most of it is either directly affected by politics or love/hate or just the general human condition.
FUNNY how that directly affects the music we all enjoy.

ole' LD just forgot that if you want people to like your music , you generally have to hand it out to people who aren't musicians.
