Aint Yo Mama did a Ron Paul Benefit this past friday night, it was a blast, we played with 4 other groups, and had a lot of old friends show up, that we havent seen in a while.

Had a couple of former members of Aint Yo Mama show up, its the band that eats guitar players, LOL!

This was at a place called the Stage Stop in Memphis Tn, I talked to Nita the owner and shes been running this place for 35 years. I used to play in there all the time with all sorts of bands.

The last time I played there with Aint Yo Mama was 98. Still had the same sound guy, same DJ, some of the same wait staff.

I got a Bloggie video camera and ran it for some of the set, but man I cant figure out how to edit this video and cut it up, without losing whatever I edit off, I made that mistake once before, I just need to really dig in and figure it out, I think of all the bands that played the other night we do look like we have the most fun.

BUt all in all I had a sloppy night. We do this original song called Dr Jack, and I have always had this one solo for it, kind of a takeoff of Page in Dazed and Confused, so the other day I was practicing and modifyed it with my whammy pedal and was doing these cool, whammy up licks, kinda sounded like a siren, well when we played it the other night, I was just in the wrong spot and had to improvise all the way thru.

We started with Killing In The Name, and I nailed that whammy solo, about as good as any time Ive played it, got the crowd really fired up.

The only thing missing is the Leather cape lol
but then you'll need a hat to go with it sort of the Zoro look

I actually have a Zorro Hat, he was my idol when I was a little kid, I dont have a leather cape thou, I will work on that, LOL!
