Couldn't stand (as in I HATED IT) the disco scene in the mid to latter 70's, but loved Robin Trower, Spirit (Twelve Dreams of Dr Sardonicus), Phil Spector's wall of sound (Dismal failure that it was.) , Frank Zappa, Monty Python, and it seemed I could always land a clerical job back then.

Life for me is kind of boring now - except for music. I played bass at church this morning and will be playing metal with a drummer this evening on six string.

But the seventies? Yeah I miss that - the intensity. I went to Hollywood and had that adventure - then late in the decade I went to Africa and had another kind of adventure. I was living large.

Now I'm just suckin' oxygen.

When I was in the Navy disco was big lol , but I was listening to Fleetwood Mac, Boz Scaggs, Thin Lizzy, UFO, Boston, and all those southern rock bands .............. Saw exceptional bar bands on Broad St. in Philly.

Naw ... though I reminisced some this morning when the radio was doing some pretty good rock from the 70's.

Seriously man, my life is better now than it ever really has been.
I don't spend too much time looking back.
It's not the direction I'm headed.
