You have a sense of fair play that maybe even you do not know you had or maybe you do, I just like it regardless. It's appealing.

Capt, I just view this as a music sight, and i just try to encourage anyone thats making music, not that I personally like all of it, but I can appreciate the time and effort it takes to create music, at any level. I do try to think on anyones music on here, what would I do if I wrote that, or recorded this song, and i try to honestly share that. Not that Im right or wrong, or good or bad.

I just think everyone deserves respect for thier efforts.

And Capt, I think the one thing I will add is that anyone that has met me from this sight, would probably say that Im the same in person as I am on here, or at least I try to be seemless in my life, whether its family, business or pleasure, consistent, I will take that as a compliment from you Capt, thanks!

Welcome, this truly is a rare exchange.

Guitar player/ piano player, artist, and a not very
good 1/2 ass recorder (and typer, move on or live
with the typing errors).

I play and write rock n roll, not some floating in the
trees, singing to the ocean, sitting on a park bench
feeding pigeons....I'm sure there's a niche for this
type of sh#t.I'm not filling it, you go right ahead, I
play cvoming straight at you kickazz rock n roll. My
songs rock, they have meaning and soul, from the
lyrics to the orchestration, from the chordal structure
to the melodic intervals, and the thirds they create.
Music has made me this, in music I see the light.
I work my craft from how my abs look to the rockin
social commentary of my songs to the intervallic
relationships my instruments offer up.

theme of drugs. Need to learn how to record some

Dane, please don't let my vitriol against Lynard, or his vitriol against me and others discourage you from joining the forum.. Usually, its really not this bad... And please know, that there a lot of of good folk here (which far outweigh the bad)

thanks joseph, I tried to upload a tune the other night but due to bad dial-up service I presume, it times out before the 3.5 megabyte file is done.. "Joyful Noise" was entered into a song competition in Aug. 2006 on Ourstage and out of 350+ entries I placed 37th ..ourstage members would vote on tunes with 1 on 1 song competitions and the winner would place so many steps higher in the competition, in other words, it was the entire voting crowd that decided the best in the competition and not a handful of judges like some of those TV shows do it.. Ourstage has changed so much I will not be a part of it anymore..it is cheapened down and they did away with so many features..
