We were just jammin' and one of the "visitors" asked if he could tape us with his cell phone. Mike said cool and the next thing I know we are on u-tube.

NEW VIDEO ON Glens Profile. (TROUBLE)

How is that for a garage band rehearsal space. What a MAN CAVE!!!

This is getting to be more fun every time I jamm with these guys.

It's like the wild west. I like the song, we have played it a couple times. The arrangement needs to be really tightened, and Mike (the bass) realizes how hard it is to sing and hold down the bass. BUT!!!

I'm having a goood time

:) :)

Thanks JC. You're right. Every thing is mic'ed. Thats why you hear me comment about volumes. I have to admit its an old thing to run every thing through the pa. Mike has a pretty decent pa setup. Including equipment that is just in storage. The whole GARAGE can get pretty thick.

But a CELLPHONE. I was a bit amazed myself. I think I will just sell all my studio gear and go buy a good cell phone.

WAY TO FUNNY.

Looks like a good time Glen, good
players always make good music,
when thet put their mind to it.

Man as I learn more about technology,
it won't be long before a pro grade
studio is available on your cellphone,
probably already is, I'm just technologically
retarded.

I thought it needed more guitar.

Nice song! I saw a couple of room mic's. Was that audio off those or only from the phone? Nice guitar tone and playing! :D

Glen, First... Lemme say How much I LOVE that song... (is that one of yours or a cover)?

How I wish I could step in there with you guys... I mean ...I'm flooded with a shitload of ideas...

Might I suggest on the leads... a tad less bouncy... With this song, LESS is MORE... Every lick should punctuate the singer's prose... with conviction. Better than just wandering around in scale..

Re The Bass line... Sheeeiut dude... What stops him from a full out rythmic thump (Think Tom Petty "I wont back Down") I only speculate ...but that would seem to maybe
1) Tighten the meter on his bass lines , hence the Drummers job gets easier..
2) Elevate his vocal presence, by providing the slots to paint his vocal into. (Which will improve his key)

Back to the guitars, Love the ethereal effect on that other guy's guitar, and I love the effect of yours.. How cool if yo guys worked a solo together where you execute counter melodies

Anywho Just sharing my thoughts... Its a great song and a keeper in my opinion.. an I sure hope thisisnt a song that somebody else already did...

Good band! Love that organ sound. 8)

I just posted a video from my new Iphone.
You guys must be running a line in to the phone like I did.

Ok if you search Diamond Jig Band, These guys have a bunch of old tunes up.
This is where it starts to get tough because they have all been friends for a long, long time.
Mike (bass) wrote the song. I like it. But DOG even you are running into the same thing with Bench for two. Friggin Great song man, but the arrangement can change the very intent. Thats what I'm running into with Mikes song.

If you knew how hard I have to work to keep that toned down to make it work. I'll Figure it out,I hope. Meanwhile I feel like I have to play it the same way as getting laid with your jeans on and all zipped up. :)
