It's hard to soar with the eagles when you are surrounded by turkeys.

I'm so desperate for a drummer I've offered to buy a new drum set for the drummer to use at our practice space. In fact they can have the new drum set.

I wish more folks would take up drums instead of guitar. Too many guitar players.

Too many think they play guitar, my Bass player scares em off! Done that bought a nice kit ........Memphis TN is Musicians desert museum the few that play drums are what folks call hired guns or folks that generally are more suited to playing by themselves ....... so I play the darn things, myself , and actually had a couple offers to play drums for a couple bands lol

i know exactly how you feel,
and around 96' I did just that
sold or gave away all my musical equipment, bought a harley,
by 98 I was drag racing harley's in every spare moment.
well that's done
so here I am again
let me tell you music is much cheaper.
but you still end up with the same questions about expression.
