A while ago I bought a power supply for my new i5 system. I ordered a 600 w Thermaltake supply and found the one that looked like it at Tiger Direct.com. When It got here the first thing I noticed was that the box was white and not black. Then when I got around to assembling the i5 about two weeks later (Took time for all the parts to get here) and I opened it up and started to bolt it in. Then I noticed that it had about 8- 4 pin power plugs as used in the now pretty much obsolete EIDE parallel drives.

(You don't have to understand all of this but the good part is coming.)

And I saw that it only had 4 new configuration power plugs. BUMMERS!! And they were oll on one string so I couldn't reach both the hard drives and the CD R DVD R at the same time. So I asked to return it.

It took a day to get the email, but they said that they would send a pre paid return label to me. And they did. HUH? Someone willing to pick up the $$$$$shipping on a ten ton power supply because it won't work for you? Yup. That's Tiger Direct. First of many times that I will do business with them.

The only other guys that have dealt with that do stuff like that was Musicians Friend. I always get my gear first if they have it. They always send a pre paid shipping RMA label to you if you aren't happy about something.

I just don't know of that many businesses who actually give a damn about someone after they have their money. That's pretty rare these days. I just wanted to say something nice about a company for a change and to be able to say it honestly. You know there are business who will send you into a rage by just hearing their name, don't you? If not, I'm sure your turn is coming. :) :)

Carvin's customer service is exemplary as well.

The first time I talked with them I was really pissed.

I must have got the dumb and dumber stoner sales man or something.

I really kicked the sh*t out of them about it too ...

Now, that said ... my every experince with them service wise since has been great.

I had issues with my first Vintage 16 amp and they shipped me a second before I could even return the first.

Same with the guitar wireless ( which by the way I still think is a piece of sh*t ) the service was beyond reproach.

I almost felt bad about replacing the wireless with a Line6.
The Line6 works great ... but those assholes never even returned my Email about parts.
