Reworked part of a song and wrote a lot of another.
It's nice to have our drummer back in the game!
Glad that you guys found a way to work it out... Actually pretty impressive, ...its a show of wisdom, patience and generosity... Thumbs up!
I had the good luck once of meeting Carol Kaye. I remember her sayin that if your under the influence while playin you might think your in the pocket, but you never are. At the time I was pretty deep in my addiction but those words helped me stop (probally saved my life) have to make a choice which is more important gettin high or drunk or being true to the music. IMHO.
Hey Po Boy, I guess I'm not familiar with Carol Kay,
but I totally disagree with her statement. I could name
a 1000 players thru the ages spanning all genres of
music, who did there best stuff high.I'm not a scientist,
but you don't have to be Stephen Hawking to see a
definite correlation between drugs and music. Abuse
of drugs and alcohol, might ruin your life, it seems too
always have a positive effect on the music.
Glad to hear you beat your addiction, we all reach that
point in our life where change becomes necessary.
You can be true to the music and be high or drunk, but
maybe you can't be true to yourself.
