George, we have done several corporate gigs and by the way they pay the best and you only play a couple of sets! Any way this company rents a certain resort (the whole damn thing) it is not on the strip for a reason! No business would get conducted if it were right on the strip. Anyhow they are flying us in paying our hotel! We are going to be playing at the resort. They also bring in a very high profile key note speaker! Basically I am taking my pay from the gig paying my wife's airfare and we are going to have a mini vacation away! I also get to spend some time with my Buds in the band!

I was kind of thinking that, also. However, since I really reserve my comments for things concerning the lyrics/vocals, I didn't want to say anything about it until someone else said something along those lines first.
It was one of those things where I started listening and was like, "They started in the middle of the song!"
It's still a killer song, though.
One thing I have learned during this process is that the sound of my voice coming back at me doesn't bother me like it always has! I am 53 years old and way back in the late 70's I heard my voice coming back at me during a recording session. I thought what the H3ll am I doing here. After all these years I have DESPISED the sound of my OWN voice! Finally that isn't the case (as long as I am not speaking)! In this recording the effects on my voice are chorus and reverb no delay YEA!
Folks I am a musician and I am NOT a recording engineer. I love making music and playing live. I was writing music before I was in a cover band. I have also learned about the recording process from being in a REAL studio. Having said that I am the type of person that learns hands on (by making mistakes) you can show me something 10 times but until I actually do it, it won't sink in!
I have been putting off recording some original music, well because you guy's know I am a little jaded when it comes to originals. I have decided recently that it would be a shame for a musician such as myself to have done so much and to have so many idea's to not record them. Also I spent over a grand for that recorder that has been in my music room collecting dust for it to not get used! I haven't even scratched the surface as to my originals and THE BEST IS YET TO COME!

It's a little awkward, but the way you play it makes the tune.
It sounds like the hidden track off of that one Lynard Skynard album.
I guess the moral of the story is if it's deep within your own genre, you can do a little more with the tune in general.
