Crip2nite wrote:Thanx all for the replies. I barely get to go online anymore. Just want you all to know that I've got about 40 tunes down and am working on a very intricate tune by Steve Morse just for the heluvit! Got my chops back better than ever but I've yet to see if I can wail standing up. Haven't tried that yet! I think I'll be able to but I feel my right arm will not be able to endure playing the long sets I used to when I played out as it gets very tired.....We'll see. The fact that I can play again is a joy in itself! I should count my blessings as right now, that's all I've got! Can't work, can't ride, etc.. so I can put all my time into playing now even more than ever. WHEW...good thing I didn't sell any of my stuff as I haven't any $$ to buy equipment at the moment! Hope you all have a Happy New Year! :D

I was just gonna ask - what about your work-situation? I'm glad you're back in the saddle again. Seems like you went from suicide to bliss between posts. Amazing grace!

As for wearing out your arm - you know you do have an excuse for riding your guitar a little higher than normal when standing - might make it easier til you rebuild your stamina.

Cheers!

Lol suicide? Never! Never crossed my mind as I have wife and kids! Now... As far as throwing in the towel...YES! It took a ton of work and immense pain to get where I am At ony guitar and I was just ready to give it up but decided that it was basically all I had left besides just laying there feeling sorry for myself. I am a fighter and would never even contemplate on giving up on LIFE no matter what!

haha. I know it. I just used that term to over-emphasis the tone of your last few posts, what with putting your gear up for sale, etc. It's encouraging to see you on the up turn of life again. Welcome back :D
