"O that you would altogether hold your peace! and it should be your wisdom"
Job 13:5
that is all I have to say about that

Come on JCp I'm on my 4th wine
and the old ladies hollering come
to bed, don't give me Bible passages
to look up, give me the verse
10 worst lyrics Dog? I'll look
tommorow.
Could it be " I found her diary
beneath the tree"

It's a good day to die
How can that be mentioned in the same breath as wost lyrics. Her diary, in my opinion is a masterpiece.

I didn't want to read her diary beneath the tree.
I preffered she left it there while we were in the
bushes.

The Joan Osborne song was the only
one I'd ever heard.
one I'd ever heard.
It's a good day to die

I love Bread.
What a heartbreaking twist in that song.
As for being guilty...
Oh Yeah... one of my first songs had the line
"She sits alone wondering where has he gone knowing he'll return the fire will always burn"
How embarrassing is that! I can laugh at it now... I still have the notebook from way back in the 80's when I wrote it.

I'm guilty too Jahva. From the first song I wrote and recorded, 1984's "Johannesburg":
Johannesburg, what have you learned?
You lock your people out
And you're bound to burn
Johannesburg, clear conscience won't be earned
'Til freedom is the song we sing
And apartheid is spurned
You would have had to have been there
Johannesburg, what have you learned?
You lock your people out
And you're bound to burn
Johannesburg, clear conscience won't be earned
'Til freedom is the song we sing
And apartheid is spurned
You would have had to have been there

You were onto something though.
I was trying to write some hard-rock hairdo band love song!
Warning: Don't listen to Her Diary while drinking or operating a motor vehicle.
