Weren't you made in His image? Or does that just apply to the physical form?

8) I think you already know the mind of god . . . it's your own.

We are " created in his image " being an eternal being of soul and of free choice.
It's really not all that complicated.

Chief Engineer Scott wrote:Jesus would grow to about the size of Godzilla and start flame blasting the whole area. Jets and Helicopters would be brought in to fire upon HIM, but with a waive of his hand they would all crash into the soil and explode.

Then he would animate the nativity scene and they would all attack the liberals, sparing no one.

PS: God pulling ahead in the 4th quarter for a dominating win over the Liberals, 155 to 39.. God went 3 for 4 from the line, shooting 79% from beyond the arc, etc. Naturally he got MVP..

lol

Way Funny !

God exists in three Persons: father, son, holy spirit. Yet is one. it is a mystery.

Consider yourself as a two dimensional being, then consider God as a three dimensional being and makes a little more sense.

George said it exactly right, "What Jesus would do, He already has done."

My wife summed up theology better than most: we humans have "Free Won't" (as opposed to free will). Jesus died for us - ALL of us. We can say 'No thanks." That might not be the right choice though, in all seriousness.

I'm a Christian believer for one rreason only, I believe it to be true. Thirty years of reading scripture has only reinforced that.

But I think I'll hold off on wars and crusades. Hasn't there been enough of that?

I say the display stays. It's called FREEDOM OF SPEECH. I don't get all this anti-religious sentiment. People have religious beliefs or not. Whether we're in the public or private sector people deserve the right to express their beliefs FREELY ANYWHERE.

If they can build a mosque near ground zero, LEAVE THE FING NATIVITY SCENE ALONE !!!!!

Everyone keeps screwing with the Christians until the Christians get angry.
Then the rest wonder what has them so bent out of shape..

What does anyone care wtf holiday display people have on the lawn?

I just saw a Kwanza display (I think) nearby to the house. Am I supposed to be upset? LOL

AS IF..

I think people don't have enough personal suffering to occupy their time.
People that suffer more have much less that really bothers them enough to even mention it.

It's like saying that the "jack o lantern" is offensive to me on Halloween.

The answer is simple "don't look".
WTF is wrong with these idiots?

Bob is absolutely correct..
This ain't China yet, peoples..do what you do and enjoy it.

I cant prove anything about Christ other than through my own experience with Christ, (which others are inclined to dismiss , if I offer up mere anecdotal evidence) . It is futile in this day and age to attempt a compelling case that convinces other minds of the existence of Christ.

HOWEVER.... If I were a gambling man, I would err on the side of belief that Christ exists... Its really simple. I'd rather bet that Christ exists, and discover afterward that I was wrong, than to bet that he doesn't exist and then discover afterward, that I was wrong. Only a FOOL would not recognize the sheer brilliance of that logic, and hence pass up a sure thing....

I feel Jesus could spend a lifetime telling me how I could or should've spent my life. Or my day. I'm a sinner. I will start with that. Happy birthday, Jesus! Thanks for saving me from my sins.

Mosque ? Freedom of religion ? Have you any knowledge of the Koran ?... why not just build a "worship center " for child molesters, wife beaters & murderers.

OH DUH they already did ... it's in their doctrine ... it's called a Mosque.

Not that " Christians " are not evil and guilty of these things but it is not in the doctrine of Christ rather a perversion of Christianity by mans evil.

There is only one true God.
He whom has no name.
And there is only one way out of this mess ... Jesus.
Scoff and doubt all you like.
Soon enough you will know I am right.

I pray that "soon enough" is not too late.

I'm not "preaching" ... just stating fact.
You whom have heard the word are at choice.

Am I " intolerant " ?
Damn right ... Intolerance of the lies propagated by satan that will drag many of my brothers and sisters to hell ... that is no vice.

Label me, persecute me, what occurs to me in this realm is irrelevant as viewed in the light of eternity.

Jesus is LORD ... all other are but false gods and idols.

And he did so at choice ...

That fact itself taken in consideration is understandable to cause some doubt in men's hearts.

So this is Christmas, and a Happy new year. Today is our first snow, that we'll know this year. It's our thoughts of nativity, and the rawness that draws near. Christ was born in a manger, if that's not just queer. A King for all of us, the Blessed still near.I'm here for a moment, but who stands clear? The man who gave all for us, all we hold dear.So this is Christmas, and a happy New year.I hope you all good cheer.A merry good Christmas, and a Happy new year. We know it's a good one, Because He is still here! A Man for all of us, knowing is clear. If you don't know Jesus, then what do you hear? if it's not Salvation, then go talk to your peers. he rose from the dead, 'cause nothing could stop him... How's your thanks this year? Have a Merry Safe Christmas, and a Happy New year. Don't complain if it's not a good one, Just be Happy it's here!

Hmmm...I'm wondering...as a non-practicing buddhist, should I be offended by this topic? What would buddha do? Prolly nothing. I bet he'd take the Zen approach, & accomplish much by "not-doing." But I could be wrong...
