Hubert lived in Wayne NJ, my band backed him up at BB King's in Times Square, hung out with him at various clubs (Wagon Wheel in Bergenfield), ate, chatted about Wolf, fixed his guitars, etc.

Will miss him dearly!

Wow, that sucks. He was the guy who taught me's favorite player.

Bummer...
I remember seeing a documentary on the Delta players and he smiled through his whole interview. Just seemed delighted that people took notice of his career.
One of the all-time great guitar lines is his Smokestack lightning riff.

Even J.Page borrowed a few of his licks.

Seems death been working overtime this year.
