I saw them down at Bob's Country Bunker. Or was that the Good Ol' Boys?
This thread ended up tempting me to listen to Mary Stuart doing Badlands. That guy has it all wrapped up.
I listened and reminicsed.
There is a youtube where he does Rusty Cage by SoundGarten with Johnny Cash on lead vocals. Pretty damn excellent.

I remember seeing Glen jamming with George Benson on his show one time when I was browsing the channels. Benson was really rippin it up and I thought: "Oh Oh What's Glen going to do when it's his turn?" I was rather concerned for Glen because George was flat out smokin. So I sat down to watch.
When it was Glens ride he just waxed George at his own game. Glen was chops, technique, and taste on steroids. He played so effortlessly that it looked as if he could be doing it in his sleep.
I have great respect for Glens playing. The guy could make a guitar flat out talk with no gimmicks at all.
