Klug,

I bet you could do a good job on this song. I re wrote it a while back and posted it on another forum but no one sang it. :)

You Were Always on My Mom.

I tied to treat you like my father
I really tried to be your son
I wanted so to please my mother
Despite the nasty things you've done

I wish we'd played a little baseball
like the other dads and sons
But you were always on my mom
You were always on my mom.

It wasn't drinkin too much whiskey
or the foul smell of your breath
not the way you stained your britches
you nearly diddled mom to death

But for me you never had the time
No you just never had the time
'Cause you were always on my mom
You were always on my mom

Tell me
Tell me that you'll take the time to bathe
And give me
And give me one good reason you should stay
a reason you should stay

Think of things you could have done
But you never took the time
'Cause you were always on my mom
You were always on my mom

Excellent Slacker!

Hey Klugmo,
Shoot some video when you record it. Maybe toss a few Jamesons back and throw in a belch or two.

It was too sad for me to sing so someone else needed to perform it, and who better than Klug?

After all, it is a really sad song about a kid who’s step dad never had any time for him. 8)

Can you envision Klug singing this to an old guy sitting on a bench who's ignoring him?

I thought it was a parody of Willy Nelson's Always on my mind.
