Paper, I must have missed what happened between you and mike.
The guy could type 'd' 'o' 'g', and I think you would be there to jump his ass...

Sure, he might come off as a bit pompous, but whatever.
All of the Michiganders I've known so far have come off that way. Maybe they can't help it.

Paperdog, what happened you went from a
cute little bunny, to an enlarged brained alien,
and now your a singer/guitar player, trying to talk
sense to the forum poster child. I think a good STFU,
works better on the mentally challenged, than a
thorough discussion of his talking points.

I'll make you rich.... just keep a low profile. :)

Glen.help me out here... You said he was a genius.. I'm thinking this guy has an IQ of 90-120, tops... (To be Genius requires 160 + ) I see nothing GOOD whatsoever about Mike N's political mindset. He' comes off as a social retard (Self admitted), which is a death sentence to anybody trying to participate in politics...
His so called music and Art... lets just say I don't buy any of it. He has nothing original, and We already had Andy Warhol and (still have a Michael Moore...)
.So please help me out here... What is so wonderous about Mike N, that floats yer boat about him? (Maybe I have missed something...so I'm trying to be fair here)

Sorry DOG. MN is just so easy to play. He is just Fun. He does know his way around the computer, But I played him before. He lost, I didn't win anything more than him calling foul ball. I still respect his talent on the web.

As far as his political views he already said he ran for congress and lost because it is so dirty. Mike Nobody is RIGHT,,, AND,,, totally wrong.

Mike ,,,, Your political views totally suck, STFU, before someone puts a bullet in your brain. Americans are getting fed up with waste and views that are socialistic, communistic, and beyond any reasonable thought.

How was that Dog? :)

ZIp Its really quite simple.. I'm a scrapper when it comes to bullies. If you walk up and slap me for no reason .Then I'm inclined to bury you head first into the ground and then set your shoes on fire.

On the Other hand, if you treat me with a modicum of respect, i'm inclined to be a damn cool, if not best friend... I have a boatload of them in real life who will attest to that.

In the Case of Mike N, his cardinal sin with me was telling me I "didnt know what the f**k I was talking about..." , when I innocently offered up an opinion. In my Book, Unsolicited Rudeness equates to bulliness...And I just told you how I feel about that.

Well, I still respect that Glen is probably a more skilled musician than I, in the contemporary sense.
We disagree on stuff and it used to get kinda nasty.
But, I am glad it has been toning down.
I do not know where anyone gets the idea that I would support communism.
I do not know how anyone thinks I would support waste.
Isn't there enough?
I think we are all born free. But, in society, that freedom comes with a few limitations and social obligations. We don't just let criminals do whatever the Hell they want and we try to be supportive to people who really need help.

Telling you that you are wrong is not bullying.
Simply being rude is not bullying.
Telling someone to STFU is getting pretty close to it though.
As for respect... YOU HAVE TO EARN IT.
I don't know what parallel universe you come from where you don't.

Per earning respect - you still haven't paid off your social skills debt as far as I'm concerned. I'm not not trying to flame you, but you sure do come up with some offensive whoppers now and again. Call it morbid curiosity, but I took a risk unhiding your most recent posts to see what vile excrement would ooze from the page. Given this statement will probably prompt oozing on your next post, I'll leave the thread while I still have my eyes in tact.

As for communism - well, you did/do glom onto the Star Trekian model of an utopian society, so the fact that Captain Kirk was a class above 1st officer shows you're not communist - but you do have a Marxist strain in you.

No one can argue utopia isn't a nice theory - if everyone thought the way you do, then we'd have utopia right now! YOUR utopia! - problem is, different people = different notions of utopia - the only way you'll get your Star Trek heaven is at gunpoint - which sadly happens over and over in history.

All those IQ points you racked up over the years won't do you any good if you stack them all up on faulty premises.

How did I get sucked into this thread. Back to music!

Cheers

I do not know what oozing excrement you were expecting to find.

Don't communist countries have captains on ships too? I don't see how Captain Kirk is a refutation of communism per se, or anything else.
I would take Karl Marx's analysis of capitalism as pretty good, even if his (and Lenin, Stalin, Mao, Castro, et al) prescriptions to deal with it were fatally flawed. That doesn't exactly make me a Marxist though.
At least in the Star Trek canon, forcing everyone at gunpoint to accept a change in the economic structure was wholly unnecessary.
All other economic systems had, by then, failed miserably.
So, "Trekonomics" won by default.
Surviving WW3 and meeting extra-terrestrials may have had something to do with it, though.

First let's try to clarify the air.I have 80 year old customers that can't afford to heat their homes anymore. This is what we have come down to. I love these people, but I don't have the funds to help them all. God I wish I did.

Mike, somewhere deep down your thoughts are are so right.. I would never question your intellect, you are a very smart person. You just going about it the way I wouldn't agree with.

Somewhere along the way this whole country has breached a few points, not one , but many, that is twisting us and trying to tear us into tiny little pieces.

If America Is allowed to survive and grow, and prosper, then there is hope for the whole world. The hope that we will grow into star trek . It will only come from good old American work ethic and brains.

Every thing seems so twisted and distorted, Sir Jams is right about music.

I'm not crazy,,, I'm just thinking about the grankids

I'm for big boobs ( and little ones to )

But if I'm going out in a spaceship,
don't give me Capt. Kirk, I would feel safer
with Jean Luc Picard 8)
