I HIT A TRUCK HEAD ON WITH MY MOTORCYCLE and look..I'm typing, talking, walking experiencing pain, sorrow, self pity at times, anger, sadnes, etc... I'm ALIVE AFTER SMASHING INTO A TRUCK!Does anybody besides me find that some sort of miracle!
Picked guitar up for the 1st time today and seeing as the way the arm was "humty-dumtird" back together, it doesn't look too promising that I'm ever gonna shred like I used to... Hell, I can't even put a spoon to my mouth if you all really need to know. Dr. was honest with me and informed me that the dexterity I used to have may be no where near what it used to be and I don't forsee me being able to get my ass back to work as this paricular metal infusion does not allow for a heavy amount of lifting, which is 60% of my job!
Crip, Indeed its a miracle... As for the Doctor's "consult" I would take that with a little grain of salt. Doctors have opinions , which in my experience are often times inaccurate. When that cannot be 100% sure, they will offer worse case scenario in the explanation... This is to avoid mal-practice suits. I'd say just focus on healing and take it in Start by working with that spoon...Get healed up enough that yo can lift that guitar, and so on. I said this before...yer biggest challenge is probably gonna be 'patience' But if you can be patient, I have a gut feeling that in time, you'll play again... Just take it slow and steady... Awright now I dont mean to sound like I'm on the pulpit...
