Well, if you (or anyone) want's to work on a project - I'm set up to do so. I'm not the best person to do the final mix, but I have all the basics of home recording set in place and have worked on several private projects with friends.

I have a kompoz account here:
http://www.kompoz.com/compose-collabora ... ile.member

you can sign up for a free account. Just msg me with a project invite or PM me on the site.

Cheers!

oh, and I listened to your songs - nice tunes AND voice

I have collaborated with musicians using Sonar and even Guitar Tracks. The drummer, bass player, and singer were from a small town about 60 miles from here. The original bundle was mailed to me in a "Cakewalk Guitar Tracks" format. I loaded it into Sonar and deleted everything from it that I didn't like.

The Dobro player is from the Netherlands. I cleaned the tracks up and sent an MP3 to the Dobro player ( A really pro picker, David Kampmann, from Soundclick). He sent back the MP3 and I loaded it into Sonar and remixed the tracks.

I asked him to play all the way through without any breaks so I could cut and paste portions of his work into the song. He played along with the MP3, and sent his track back to me separately so I the cut clips out of it and pasted them into the song where I wanted them.

The original drum and bass track were made on a cassette recorder about 8 years before I received it ,as a joke. (Everything was played on a banjo and sent to me for laughs. The joke part was that the guy playing banjo just bought it and didn't have a clue as to what to do with it. He also sent a banjo version of Don't Be Cruel. Funny stuff. I liked HRS and started adding FX and various sounds made from bits and pieces of audio found on the Internet.

So all in all you do not need anything very complicated to even do this on a 44Kbps line modem. Slow, but you can get the job done. :)
