I work for a large multi national corp & believe me a lot the pc stuff going around comes from corp management . Profit comes before everything including America. We now fly multi national flags on our " campus " & who ever is in town gets top billing. Korea , China , whatever !

I took work in corporate America. I met with a potential employer today who is consultant I've worked with before and a very sharp cat. We discussed how to make money and help clients despite their almost abject stupidity.

One of his business ideas is coming to fruition now which is teaching these egotistical boneheads how to deal with compliance and regulation. Many of them are embracing it as a wonderful thing and spend most of their resources on it - imagining that they are actually accomplishing something.

It is the abject, almost pathetic venality and stupidity of corporate management that has cost us our competitive edge. For every Steve Jobs there are a thousand who'd be better employed shoveling sh*t.

I'm not exaggerating.

Strict profit caps have worked quite well in such countries as the Soviet Union, Cuba and especially North Korea...

Everytime I here a client yak on about profits, as though his passion about it is something new and original, I just want to puke all over his shoes, and then shove a 1970's stamped twinkie up his ass...
As for compliance... I agree with you ...They couldn't solve their way out of a paper sack... You have to realize, that when regulations are imposed , its a guarantee for them that their jobs will last longer...That's why they embrace all that nonsense. But the real joke is that you cant teach them sh*t...Its why they are there in the first place.

You cannot control the greed of people who would control the greed so there is no control for greed save the sword.
When your ready to kill em all and let God sort em out then let's go.
Until then, do your best to only do business with those whom reflect your sense of morality.
As difficult a task as that is.

CARVIN

Made in the USA.

Another reason I try to do my business with them as much as possible.

Of course for all I know some of the components are purchased overseas.

Still ... I try as I'm able

How great is the idea of profit caps if it were trickled down to musicians, and you could only get the 10 years ago price per band cap? That would go over big with the mega bands.

You know that it is always First pick on someone the people will hate, then after they're gone, apply it across the board all the way down to the common laborers wages. What if they think the guy who operates the heavy machinery shouldn't get more then the guy who sweeps the floor some day?

Not?

Then you haven't been watching these people close enough.

I'm against profit caps but for making these mega-corporations pay their fair share in taxes and eliminating the loopholes that allow them to avoid them. Tack on an extra tax if you use overseas labor.
