Wo w ... I 'm really impressed with your vocal strength , you dont sing through your nose . You have a great vocal range , and your clarity is impeccable . You have a great laconic voice , unassuming . I wish I had'nt left Orlando. I just moved back here to Maryland a year ago . Ive been playing guitar about 25 years . I like the way "Cry" is written w/ A minor b & d , Its great to hear a talented , beautiful woman give her gift . Go , & dont let any creamscrapers take you for a ride . God ... :!:

Seems as though I've had some sort of problem related to being female in just about every band I've been in. The first obstacle is just getting band members to take a woman seriously at all. Many don't believe that a chick can sing rock. Weeding out the psychos is the next trick. I stopped counting the times someone has pretended to be a potential band member or industry pro in an attempt to get closer to me. Once the weeding out & audition is over, the battle of the wives & girlfriends begins. Many can't handle the interaction that goes on between a band when they play. What is viewed as horseplay between men suddenly is perceived as flirtation when the singer is female. I was once voted out of a band by the "henhouse" because they decided "no chicks." Ladies, I'm not out to screw your man; I'm out to play some rock & roll, have some fun, & make a few bucks! So, pardon us chicks for being careful; it's rougher than you guys think!

I agree with you 100 percent and can't even come up with a good response as you hit it on the head and its not only in music but in this time of ours guys can't have gal friends or gals can't have guy friends without sex coming into play by the onlookers.Once I'm through with a gig,I'm out of Dodge before anyone can start any gossip.....I could really get on a soapbox with this topic but I don't want anyone starting rumors about us

I moved from Florida 8 years ago to New York state.Lived in the Ft.Lauderdale area where I still have numerous connections so after EXIT 20 did their demo with two originals we sent it down to Florida for a listen.Check us out on www.exit20.altpro.net
Dance To The Music is our original that is taking off like a rocket at least up in my neck of the woods.Anyway, check it all out and let me know what ya think of this northern classic rock band.I'm the long, grey haired drummer stuck in the 70's........... :D

Maybe if you crazy out-of-towners knew what a great place Michigan could be...I'd be all over it. Florida? Ohio? Michigan is where it's at, lol.

Okay, I jest. But it would be cool.

I've lived in Ohio, Florida, & a few others, & I spent many a summer in Michigan. I'll take Florida any day. Michigan is beautiful; especially the Upper Peninsula, but it gets way too cold for me.

Okay, I mentioned before about having to deal with men trying to pass themselves off as industry pros in order to get closer to me. Had one today. This one claimed to be the drummer for Rascal Flatts. Now, I'm not a fan, so I didn't know this guy from Adam, but my co-workers are, so I assumed they at least knew what the guy looked like. Anyway, he talked a big line, but everytime I tried to talk music he changed the subject. The only thing that seemed to be on his mind was how to get me out of my clothes. See, guys? This sort of stuff doesn't happen to you, does it? Being a woman in this business is tough enough without having to deal with losers, psychos, & POSERS!
