I like fender bullets on my strats 9,11,16,26.36.46 ,they dont get stuck in the bridge. tuning sucks when you get a ball end up in there & then put a new string in also I think the bullet end seats better in the bore of the vibrato block (better tone ? theory only). on shorter scale guitars (gibson ,prs ) I use ghs 10,12,16,26,36,46. dont like dean markley they bend with a different feel.
I used sho-bud strings for yrs & loved them but they quit making them in the 70s I used to change strings every gig but Im embarrassed to say how long I go between changes now days. when Im relaxed playing I never break strings ,
when I'm nervous & pushing I break strings so .....ok ill shut up
