I think that is an unfounded rumor. Seems like someone told me they checked it out on Snopes and it's not true.

Yeah, that one crops up at least once a year....

Logically, There is no way Face book will charge money like that... The vacuous void from the mass exodus would cause a thunder clap that would shatter all the holdings that Advertisers are investing in. They'd have to call it "Face-Down Book" after that.

Now it is possible that FB might solicit. passively offer premium membership for fees, where perhaps you get more admin privilege with the profile settings, etc and maybe even reduced ADs pop ups... But that would be distinctly separate , over and above the free account you currently have. That's my guess anyway.

Facebook will do whatever to keep members there because the government is busy logging the members pictures in the facial recognition data banks. It would be a bad thing if the gov lost its cozy deal with facebook or Google. Even if they do still track every place you go at any hour of the day through where your cell phone or any of your other wireless devices are at any given time, they still need the facial recognition data for storage. They do need to track your every movement to protect
you.

They can tell how fast you are going as the towers automatically follow and log your speed as well as other information . Some are talking about using that information to automatically administer speeding tickets in the near future. They do need revenue, you know.

Glen, what on earth are you talking about? I said nothing about my opinion. I simply quoted intent as professed by them through the links posted. I assure you, my opinion of what is going in America and the rest of the world today is far more radical than yours.
In my opinion the intent of what is being accomplished through this government and through other world governments is far more evil than that found in the simplicity of your statement. I see it as the escalation of spiritual warfare with the end goal being to eradicate all Jews, Christians, and any who do not go along with the global system to come. Do you only see it as a means to control you? If so, I am sure you sleep far better than I do.

The history of civilization is so rich with nations and groups of people attacking and displacing other nations/groups of people that the concept is in our collective conscious. We have this collective paranoia about there being somebody out there who wants to destroy us or enslave us. I've heard about these "evil world orders" for as long as I can remember. Just about every nation/religion/tribe etc. have had their day in the sun as conquerors and also have had the snot kicked out of them. That's just the sad story of human history. I don't believe there's any stronger desire to "eliminate Jews and/or Christians" than there has been for 2000 years. Put yourself in the place of non-Christians and look how many times in history that so-called Christians have tried to destroy non-Christians. It is a shameful part of human history that the attitude of groups of people invariably think that "we" are better than "them." For example it was perfectly okay that President James K. Polks policy of Manifest Destiny encouraged the expansion across America, displacing the native Amercans since "they" were barbaric heathens and "we" were civilized Christians. If there really is a "one world order" than surely there is a small group of people aspiring to conquer us. Start naming names so we can do a pre-emptive strike and kill them. I've never heard anybody give specific names. I believe it's paranoid thinking justified by our sad past. And by the way, all the guns that an individual may have won't protect them when we get the snot kicked out of us the next inevitable time it occurs.

Sorry Slack, I put it the wrong sarcastic way. It all still comes down to one group of people controlling another group. This has been the way of man through history. With our computer age this has become a terror tool. The bottom line is control.

As far as guns. The guys that put our country together only had pea shooters, against a formal military that was engaged as a way to CONTROL the general population. Funny how it turned out, I don't feel very British.

Bob you have posted some very good points, but you sound like you are tired of this, we all are. The only reason why our America has not been completely taken over, IS THE SECOND AMENDMENT.
Yeah, we have police and sheriffs and the FBI and CIA, the list goes on,,
