haha. I'm actually hoping for an opportunity to play in a Christian band one of these days. The Bay Area used to have venues and shows where Christian bands would tour, but about a decade ago, that well dried up. So much so, that Christian bands practically avoid the Bay Area because they can't draw enough interest to support their tours :( I'm doing classic rock right now because it's all that's available to me, and of course, because the musicians of 60's, 70s and 80s are inspirational to me so it's a way to learn to be a better musician. I admire the fact you're able to perform in a band that has the same vision and goals both on and off the stage. That must be a great feeling :)

Cheers!

It is a great feeling.

It's also quite the mission.
We don't get to play nearly as much as I would like being dependent on venues per sae.
We are a rock act, verging on metal mayhem in the eyes of a lot of folk in our area that like only gospel or southern gospel music performances.
But it has also been rewarding in the friends we have made along the way.

My intent is to make the necessary investments to allow US to be the producers / promoters. And to be less dependent on others for the where and the when.

That will be one fine day IMO.
