I started a new jam with a guitarist a bit farther away. He brought his drummer and bass player. The drummer needed some help. The bass player was PDG. This guitarist talked a great gig until they showed up. The bass showed up with a small Carvin rig. SOUNDED GREAT. The drummer was amazed at the the drum kit I have set up. He sounded great no matter how bad he played. This guitar shows up with a tiny 20 watt Marshall, that has a ground problem, I couldn't even mic it, let alone plug it in to the board, PA.

Vocals, I can't even go there, that bad.
In other words, everyone was loaded for bear, and you show up with a sling shot.
I have had many contacts with some of the people here that are close enough to play. I am amazed at how many people aren't serious at all. In this case I think this guitarist just ran into something he wasn't expecting. He wanted to be a star in a bar. I don't know.
Funny I was complaining about my garage band friends 4 months ago, HA HA. These guys have become good friends I can count on to have some fun. Are they good? NO! But it doesn't matter. I would rather play with them, than some one with no call or no reply.
