Veteran blues guitarist Paul Eager set to join the Bluefin Tuna Band. First audition/rehearsal toda6y, fourth member will audition this coming weekend. Good sounds, common ground, common goals, future looks a little brighter today...

He showed up on time. He's a fine guitarist, hopefully we can get something up and running real soon. Looking forward to future rehearsals and adding a fourth member.

Not easy dealing with new people, no matter the reputation.

Looks like a go, rehearsal #2 Sunday, auditioning harmonica player. Hopefuly gigging soon. Better yet, studio work to soon follow, even better CD release after that. Jumping ahead perhaps but it should happen.

Damn Bob, every time I see your band's name in a title, I think of food, mainly my favorite haunt of Cap'n Jack's Seafood in Seal Beach. They have the best King Crab.

I hope he showed up with a side of lemon.

I guess he wasn't so eager, already quit. Got two others lined up for tryouts already.

. He's already gone. One thing I miss about the East Coast is the good seafood restaurants, although K.C. has arguably the best BBQ in the world. I didn't pick the name, an old keyboard player picked it. I registered it on Bandname Registry. By the way is your band doing any gigging?

That sucks. The right guy will show up. I've learned to be presistent and patient in these deals. Speaking of patience, we're taking a break because my drummer's truck is busted and his mom is having problems, the bass player got sick with an infection, Cisco's granddaughter was here for the summer, and my job is renovating our space so that's been stressful. We have three new tunes, but we just have to get a time for everyone to settle down and record.

The nice thing I like is the fact that we're pretty much have decided to stick together through thick and thin, unless a tour comes along.

Musicians are flakes, we all know this.

Someone will come along that fits the bill.

And for the record, I'll trade you all the seafood restaurants for your 1 good BBQ place, even up.

I'm a Georgia boy but grew up in Maryland. When I just have to have decent crab I go to the Brickery in Roswell GA. An Irish joint oddly enough but best crabcake I've had since last I visited kin in MD.

Now, if somebody just made a decent soft shelled crab sandwich...
