I heard nicklebacks 1st hit, 1st release played simultaniously w/2nd hit from 2nd release on opposite l & r speakers sync'd together & they were identical except for lyrics even the vocal melody line was the same . both were hits , so does that say something about nickleback , the record companies, the general public or all the above. I guess if I ever have a "hit " I'll keep releasing it with new lyrics !!???ugh !

I hate Nickelback, one song sounded kinda good, until I realized, it was ALL the same song.

I guess the true challenge of any full blooded musician is to write the perfect song!

Stating what you or I think is the worst or even best song is pointless in my mind, most of the songs here that everyone says are horrible had enough folks that thought they were great songs to be heard in the first place.

So I think the question should be reworded: What song that was a hit do you think in your opinion is horrible?


Its funny I kinda fancy myself as a songwriter but so far after one of my pet songs has set on the shelf for a while they dont sound that good to me, so I guess as far as writing Im still trying to get past my worst to get to my best.

Personally I would hate to be playing the casino circuit and doing that macarena song, but my wife and I have a blast dancing to it, and if I wrote it I wouldnt mind one bit getting the royalty check.
