I put details of a non-musical, creative writing website I'm considering here on the Bandmix forum? I'm still mulling over the details and I'm recruiting an excellent writer to collaborate with (he's on the East coast). I know how everybody here loves spam so I don't want to spam you guys either unless you think it's okay.

The short answer is no, it would not be spam, which is simply unsolicited email that is sent as a mass mailing. I myself would be interested in your site.

It's going to be a comedy website. I've done some research on similar websites but I haven't seen anything quite like the one I have in mind. The key for me is to somehow make a little money off it so I can at least break even. Also there's going to have to be some kind of legal disclaimer (lawyers are a necessary evil). Just starting to explore the concept but I've already found the right writer (editor) to share story writing with me.

Don't see how it would be any different than any of us whom advertise our own sites here.

Well, I'm thinking a group of musicians being 'asked" for their support is much worthier than some joker who shoves a shamelss plug and walks off (like we've seen with those one liner idiots)

You really make it seem so easy with your presentation but I find this topic to be really something which I think I would never understand. It seems too complicated and very broad for me. I am looking forward for your next post.

I don't mind people here who participate hawking, and what George said, we tend to hawk our music all the time, so . . .

If you actually try these links here they don't work anymore.

I'd not even attempt.
No matter how good an anti virus program / firewall you run.
There is always a possibility of fatal infection.
