YES INDEED, THE TIME HAS ARRIVED FOR ME TO STAY COOL BECAUSE...............I'm now getting phone calls and emails from club after club who all dig our style of heavy rock and are looking to book us RIGHT AWAY. I'm learning the ropes FAST, organizing and getting ALL THE DETAILS so we don't show up at a venue at the wrong time or don't know the "load in" procedure etc. AND, so far, no one is asking us to SELL TICKETS. I'm going for THE DOOR: If Facebook can pull in more friends and we get 30 people to show up, there is a decent amount being offered in return, ALL FOR ONE HOUR'S WORTH OF ALL ORIGINAL MATERIAL. Now I'm navigating these gigs carefully, making sure I don't overlap and that I'm the only one doing the business here. Nothing worse than club managers dealing with band members, so I'm the GO TO guy. My bass player works the RPK Reverbation side, then (he has a very thick croatian accent and admits it) I do all the contacting in whatever manner seems best. So far I got us a date for a Friday night at 10:00pm COULD YOU ASK FOR A BETTER TIME SLOT? And the club manager is a lady who I've really hit it off with, we have a lot in common already. AMAZING. CHAEYA WAS RIGHT ABOUT LETTING THESE GUYS COME TO YOU, I CAN DO THIS AND JUGGLE EVERYTHING ELSE IN MY LIFE AT THE SAME TIME. I've been given the "you'lll never make anything of yourself in these bands" by so many people. I just tell them thanks for your advice but I'm doing it for the love of music, and if we get paid, well I'll be happier than a PIG IN A MUD PUDDLE. SO THERE YA GO GTZIP, TOP THAT. Somebody up there likes me. And thank you guys too for standing behind my typing style LOL. I'll keep you all informed of how things are going. IF WE MANAGE TO HAVE TWO GOOD MONTHS OF GIGGING THREE, MAYBE FOUR TIMES AND JUST BLOW THE ROOF OF EVERY VENUE AND GET PAID AS THE KICKER, WELL THEN, MY WORK HERE IS DONE - UNTIL THE NEXT SET OF GIGS AND BUSINESS DEALINGS!
