I have spoken to a few people of late that lost their mind and burned their music or just sold off everything they had and took a semi-perm hiatus.

The only thing I ever burned was my pledge book from Alpha Chi Rho and they burned it on the electric stove first, so I doused it in Everclear and set it on fire. (The were not amused, but I was)

Any more of you think burning your music/destroying your equipment does anything for you? I don't even think it made me feel better, then again we got so drunk that night the local cops came to the frat house and I left in chains (cuffs).

Regretfully, when I was a teen ager, I smashed up my first guitar... in a fit of temper... To this day I shudder to myself about that... Never again have I ever done that... As such, I save everything I do musically...even if it sucks... (I'll label it as "It sucks" but I won't destroy it.)

I got drunk and burned my songbook in '96. I still think of it as the catastophre of '96...

I also gave a rather nice guitar away after the woman I named it after gave me the heave ho. Now I give my instruments unlikely names like Amanda Jane and Susannah!

This is my check in. I've read some real hate posts that have transpired since my last check in. There are a lot of really good people on this site- then there's others. Caustic personalities that help no one. Good sound criticism never has the word Suck in it. Suck can be a good thing, but not as it is applied here. The powers that be kept me from posting my music here on Bandmix. I have found that if you want a sure fire way to get a response from members here, post something someone will disagree with. Good people don't post enough to make this site fun. People on this site are looking for a good word or constructive criticism, but often what they get Sucks! There are those that consider themselves Christian, even post Christian music, but then are anxious to condemn someone's efforts. Christian faith is more than a title- it is a lifestyle- more than a genre'. I'm not burning my arsenal, I'm building it. Cleared my head of bad thoughts and I won't let them follow me. There is great power in good thoughts. Bad thoughts are no power.

Are you a head case or do you just play one on TV>?

Plenty of people believe in god, they just don't believe in YOU and I can see why.

There are a few Christian musicians in here, but you don't see them preaching to the masses like this is where they came to hear your sermon.

If you want to preach, go buy a pulpit and start your own thread.

You have yet to notice that You are the one hate posts are directed. With one finger pointed out, you have four pointing back at yourself. Your hate threads are the problem with this site. The only equuipment of any kind I feel like destroying is the sh*t made in China. Especially the Chinese sh*t that is now a monopoly in many industries.
