Dude, you're in LA, how can you NOT find a vocalist? First of all, Bandmix sucks for finding people, I will tell you that right now. I like coming here because I've made friends and I like hanging with these guys. I've paid, I've sent out digital auditions and got like two responses, one didn't fit and the second I never heard back from.
Go out. I did a gig in Hollywood last night and there's musicians all over the place, in the audience. You need to network, meet folks. Go to auditions, they got the Music Connection online and it's free. Go to open mics in LA, there are singers out there who need producers, need studios. I know because we meet these people all the time.

That's the best advice someone could get, too.
Start heading the direction you want to go. Do the things that the person you want to be, would do. Sooner or later you will look around and see the people who are already going that direction and it will be like taking the training wheels off.
