I can't make out the lyrics, could you post them here please?
I'm still trying to figure out what the title means.

Negroes and mexicans work together, that's why (c)rap and hip/hop have taken over the charts.

HOLY CRAP YOU ARE A RETARD. "WHITE" hard rock? SO you're a racist then. Dude, you are clearly an idiot. A race? So music is a race to you? Well in that case let me inform you you are 30 YEARS behind in this "race". As in the style you are playing was fresh 30 years ago.

Having exposed yourself so clearly let me go ahead and say MAN YOUR MUSIC IS GARBAGE. Your recording technique is ATROCIOUS.

Get a clue about life man. I mean you can survive in this life being musically clueless but to be socially that clueless is just embarrassing.

Yet another red flag about you. What like country, jazz, blues, R&B, rap, etc etc etc aren't thoroughly American?

And this is what is on your profile. I can't believe people like you exist. And you're 48. What have you been doing for nearly half a century? Obviously not learning right and wrong.

Wow....
The recording/mix makes it tough to decipher but from what I'm hearing didn't do anything for me. Blas'e.

I was just listening to Eric Clapton and Billy Preston cover George Harrisons Isn't it a pity...
Then I read your post.
George was right.

Don't be a racist, it only makes you look stupid when maybe you aren't?

Are you talking to me? The first guy's comments, did you not find them very insulting and condescending to m? And if not, why not?

And I want a rational answer.

Damn right I am. First of all you are a guitar player that can play with a click track(drum track,MACHINE)
RG was being kind about your vocals. Thats a personal thing.
As far as your recording techniques, mixes, and masters, I think you should listen to ANY professional recording and do a real dumb thing. Compare yours.

You might be shocked at how GREAT some of the recordings are coming from some of the people here.

As far as being the greatest songwriter around, as CHAEYA would say,BAHAHAHAHA! But that is just a personal opinion.

All the rest are rational answers to you. I'm trying to be nice right now. :)

Aside from the silly drama bitching (its interesting even adults are that stupid sometimes), the music is not that bad. Sure I am not some figurehead in music myself. Though I think some wanted to accentuate it past into their bitching. Sure he was to instantly create #1 chart toppers in his post .. Also just a note on "born a felony". Felony is therefore in this context a metaphor. So use your minds far more than your mouths (may not be the greatest metaphor but it is nonetheless). It actually makes sense to me if I think about it. And I do not think I am the only person who can think on this forum. In short and I wont respond to further posts. Stop being 5 year olds and grow the f**k up.

Why would you flame somebody trying to be complementary and helpful ?

OK:
Being as I know RG and his dry sense of humor pretty well, I will.
Wow, a guitar player who can keep in time with a drum maching thats a plus.

Drum machines don't make tempo mistakes.
Therefore he complemented you on your timing.

and sing, thats a plus plus

Complement on vocal skills:

Got most of the lyrics but the recording technique you use is very very bad.

The recording techniques are very bad.
I appreciated and made strides to improve mine when I received critique on my recordings

Kind critique is rarely helpful.

P.S.
I refuse to grow the f*#k up.

Stupid is as stupid records . . . IMO the music is awful, a simple mindless repeating drum machine, barely any melody, nothing to speak of concerning technique, no harmonic underpinning, I guess he can sing (to me Bowie/Mercury can sing), directionless movement, major fail in dynamics, and to boot the recording sounds like a Tascam 4Trk cassette recorder from the 80's.

So, yeah Daniel it's not that bad.
As for Felony taking on a subjective noun, the music world is not full of illiterates, but rather quite intelligent artists (ok, some illiterates lol), but the metaphor escapes me, please explain it to me.

I asked for the lyrics but we haven't seen them yet, they might hold a better answer to this. Otherwise the title would make sense as "Born a Felon"

We have all been being very nice and helpful in our comments.

Agreed on all points except the last. I got a WAY better sound quality on my 80's tascam 4 track. Still have it actually.

I really can't conceive how he gets that bad of a sound quality. Maybe overdubs on a cassette karaoke machine that is peaking the whole time.

Agreed again. Well except that I wasn't all that nice. Dude is straight asking for it though.

Wow the Wrath Of Paul, Paul you Wrath Child You!

This is hilarious to me.

OP I listened and actually I like the guitar riff, it sounds cool, I kinda get the metaphor of the lyric, and as others on here have said the recording quaility leaves a lot to be disired.

The flip side your arrogance may serve you well for your genre of music in a live playing situation, it just goes with the territory. But to come on any forum and say Hey Look At Me, then get a nice constructive critique, and get pissed cause you didnt get what you wanted blows me away. I had to look at your profile and your 48 yrs old. Come on man grow up, I kinda expect this from 20 yr olds with a chip on thier shoulders, but you claim to be the best songwriter in your area? Just wikki it and Im sure there are many accomplished songwriters from Nebraska, Im not gonna do it for you, cause I dont really care if you are or arent.

Welcome ot Bandmix, Im one of the oldtimers here and I grew up listening and yes playing live and recording music thats not that different from what you present. This is a cool place but if you go slamming some of the old timers who have some credibilty on this site you wont fit in. If the attitude is what makes you click there are way to many sites with immature assholes that Im sure you will feel more comfortable with.

Good Luck in your music and Keep On Rockin

PS, just my opinion the only redeeming part of what you put up is the guitar riff, however guitar riffs by themselves dont make a song.

I always thought it's better to have a shitty recording with decent material than vice versa.

If you have decent material you can always rerecord and you have to be willing to take a shot to your ego here. No one is going to blow smoke where the sun doesn't shine, so you should expect to hear exactly what they think, good, bad or indifferent.

I know I personally always hear the negative aspects first and I'm slow to praise. It's not a good way to go about things, but when I do throw someone a little praise you know it's worthwhile and really what I thought instead of telling you what you want to hear.

The good thing about this site is that people will help you if you give them a chance.
