more rain in that month in recorded history.Followed by May, more record rains, daily flash flood warnings through out the state. Record cold conditions in the winter. Missouri river at record levels. Parts of the country too much water, others not enough. Record numbers of tornados devastating thousands of all they've had,and record death tolls. Million gallons of oil spilled each day with no end in sight, killing or contaminating the sea that feeds millions of people. How soon we forget when we are not part of the fray and wrath of Hurricane Catrina.
Damn . . . and all this time I thought this god was the good guy? LOL!!

Etu, you are the kind of person that in speaking to you if I were to use the word "spiritual" you would say I said spit at you.

You've got to find better things to laugh about.

It is far easier for me to believe that Jesus spit on the ground, mixed it with existing dirt it landed on and cured a man of a lifetime of blindness than to believe you are a successful musician in America with a name like Etu Malkuif that is you're band name. Stage name, all right, just don't let anyone know. In my posts of Humorous Band names you will find a band name that I feel would work for you. It is quite fitting... Just suppose Juxtaposed. :P

Oh ye of little faith! I never claimed to be a successful musician in America (though I might be), but I can understand your tendency as a man of Faith to make things up as you go along.

Etu Malku is not my real name, nor a band name or a stage name.
I'm 50, worked as a guitarist for over 30 years, lived and studied with Robert Fripp, toured Europe as an opening act for John Paul Jones, shared the stage with dozens of name acts and artists, played with Deltablues master Honeyboy Edwards, performed at Woodstock '94, and was in the House Band for BB King's in Times Square for about 2 years.

I have a lovely home, two kids in college, a beautiful wife and nowadays fix a couple of guitars during the day for a major online music store and at night I record my insane, self indulgent musiq while sipping frosty cold libations.

How about you?

Is Fripp as anti-social as he appears? It's almost like he hates his fans.

He is definitely difficult to figure out. One on one he is a pisser, very restrained and intelligent, awesome technique.

I would say the perfect Fripp fan is one that doesn't idolize and has tremendous respect for the act of the musical creation.

I've been a fan of his for over 40 years. The first time I saw Crimson was May 1974 for the "Starless and Bible Black" tour. Robin Trower was the opening act, what a great show.

That's fantastic! I'm really glad to hear it, you're successful and promising life and all. I'm in a mode right now. I'm in a good mood that no matter how someone bus' my chops I can still get up laughing. You added to my good day with your last post by not only Not looking on the dark side of my post, but showing us that you have values beyond your devilish attributes. I have my chores done, am working on my third beer, while my talented and beautiful home maker wife cleans up her roller and brush from painting the living room walls and ceiling for which she is compelled to do. I have artistry on almost every wall that either she or I have made into masterpieces (of wood) with precision that has brought us from level to level. My two sons are graduates from the school of hard knocks and are very adept in their technical skills in each of their endeavors to the likes of shock and awe in their craft/s. I am unemployed at the moment, (nothing to brag about), but I've got a lead into my dream job into something that is very promising- a federal govt. job I have mastered skills and back round in that puts me to the top of the list. Helping people help people. Check for progress in a few days. I will answer honestly. Another job called me yesterday about starting a new division to their business- a rarity, fire extinguisher technician. Not only do I know about it, they want me badly. If I decide not to work for them and go for the afformentioned (which is my choice), then I can sell them thousands of dollars of equipment they need (that I've been sitting on) and advise them without leaving my home. Meanwhile, I've developed a guitar body that you may have seen my posts on that may help everyone from the highly skilled to the infirmed. I drive a "92 Camaro (25th aniversary) I paid $1200 bucks for three years ago and have done nothing but change the oil and battery and since have put nothing else but tires and miles on. 305 V-8 w/ 4spd overdrive that uses less gas than the Honda Accord I had 15 years ago. Bandmix has been a part time hobbie of mine, but I'm finding more people want to argue more than be helpful. I've got helpful ads on this site no one hits on even at their great values. Meanwhile I'm stickin' it to the devil worshipers on this site that may be releived to hear I'm leaving Bandmix. I pay $265 a month for where me and mine have lived for twenty years (up from $200 last summer). I couldn't buy a home for that. It is a respectful home that we can go out and play horseshoes, baseball, frizbee, hunt wild animals, target shoot, ride quads, or trucks through the woods, or play guitar any time day or night without disturbing the neighbors. Yeah, I'm doin' alright.

Read, mark learn and inwardly digest for yourself, if truly interested.

No man may lead you unto the Father.

That path is yours alone.
