the cartels couldn't make a dime if drugs were legal. Everyone would just grow their own.

The cops and cartels could hold sales and get rid of all the paramilitary hardware they like to play with since there would be no opportunity to use it.

And if you've been overseas you'll probably know that America, home of the free, is the most tight assed on this issue. It's lead to a lot of trouble and will lead to more. Swat teams busting kids for bugger all is supposed to somehow protect our kids.

The Mexicans are sick of it too. They were fixing to legalize it but Bammy Boy bribed their equally corrupt govt scum and sent them a ton of our grandkid's money and a bunch of military hardware to stay in the game.

Even now, I say take over the poppy fields in Afghanistan. Lets start kicking talibans butt by hitting were it hurts most. We should start legally exporting it to China, in such mass quantities at such low prices that even the lowest worker can afford to stay stoned all day. Our military is all ready in position. It is time for our government to embark on its first capitalist venture. The same as selling military weapons to unfriendly countries.

If we can sell enough dope to China, they might forget we owe them anything. or at least the returns will be so great we can eliminate all taxes. WOW, why didn't I think of this before!!!

Imagine that, Free money for all. 8)

OMG flood China with Heroin?

That's crazy enough to actually work. What a scummy trick THAT would be. No, I couldn't get behind that.. Heroin is no good for anyone at all, ever.

If My Memory serves me Correct, I think The british pulled that off in earlier 19 00's with China... The end result was that a dictaor 9Chairman Mao) arose and killed people by the hundreds to force the country to kick the habit. I doubt that China would allow itself to go through that again.. . But what I wanna know.... How in f**k did We get owned by that third world country???

It's like anything else, jr. If you can't stand the heat, get the f**k out of the kitchen.

Paper this isn't a political forum for you to show off your current rant du jour, especially when you haven't a clue what you are talking about and no idea how to debate at all.

I don't hear terms like democrat, republican, liberal, it's the same old crap they have been spoon feeding your ass since the 8th grade.
All politicians are on the take and all of them have something to hide.

The idea that every dollar spent on marijuana is feeding a cartel or international terrorism is just plain "panic at the disco". Just make sure your tiny brain doesn't get trampled at the door when some kiddie screams, "FIRE".

If you ever had a basic logic course or any kind of education that doesn't come by way of a major media source, you might be able to handle the idea that you are using a hasty generalization to come to your own conclusion. And since you really haven't the foggiest idea of what I am referring, I'll leave you with an example of what I am talking about, you pea brain. (that would be a fallacy via personal attack) lol

Here read a little of this jr.

http://www.nizkor.org/features/fallacies/

It's the basis for all debate and some very heavy meat and potatoes of LAW in general.

=====================================

LOL This is like www wrestling... so here it goes.

Lt Scott, you don't know jack-shit about law or any of the models and forms that lawyers use to build a case. So please, don't even pretend that you do... Poser!

(Now, in the event that you are or ever were a lawyer, let me just say from the bottom of my heart that I hope you die from aids and that your entire family, up & down, winds up in a leper colony ) HA HA!

You either live in a half way house or you are on some kinda welfare. The reason you hate the tea party is because it clearly threatens to take your little gravy train away. And it damn well should. The world is full of fat people like you , hoarding all the Hot-pockets for your selves, keeping them from the rest of us hard working Americans
People like you are parasites, and the Tea party aims to kick you back into your little holes, at least for a couple of terms...

Just to illustrate how ignorant you are, I'd like you to Try and prove where I said that 'every' dollar spent on marijuana is feeding a Cartel. Go ahead, find exactly where I said it and post it. (and how the did you even come up with "international terrorism..." I did not say anything about that, you moron! )
If that 's too hard for ya, then maybe you ought to use those "lawyer skills on basic Logic" of yours and go sue that On-line Night-degree course you have been taking and failing.

Seriously dude, check your Blood sugar. You ain't thinking straight.

Congrats, Paper I have no idea what you are talking about now.

Hot pockets? I suspect hot pockets are made with roadkill. lol

Tea party? Who hates them? They have as much right as anyone else.

I detest you all equally.. LOL No need to play favorites.

Show me an honest politician and I'll show you a guy that still has a day job.

Politics is like a bad meal, even if you hate the food one tries to smile until the coast is clear enough to go home and try to forget about it without puking.

And the point of the link is to show you how people debate and what premise they base arguments on..

I completely respect your right to disagree with anything and everything, I just wish you would formulate your arguments within the constraints provided, that way it's easier to disseminate between fact and fiction without involving emotion which you like to lean on pretty heavily.

And the line about every dollar spent..feeds this and that, it's a common mantra.

"It's ok now, breathe in and out, deep breaths and you'll be fine".

I knew that If I dazzled you long enough, your prose would evolve from 'directives' such 'Know wtf' to respect the right to disagree'. It was only a matter of time.

Regarding the elements for a proper debate, I am fully aware of them... The last time I engaged in a debate, I brought a prosecutor and his police officer, both to their knees... after I poked them in the eye with a set of facts, which they had failed to consider during the court that I had attended. Needless to say, my fines were substantially reduced.

It is not unreasonable , (your request) that I formulate my arguments within the framework of nizcor's fallacies. However, it is unreasonable for you to dismiss my arguments, considering you have no first hand exposure to the facts i present, and considering you are most likely influenced by a very dishonest media ( not any fault of yours), that impedes citizen access to the truth.

In short, we just lost another rancher yesterday in AZ. his body was bullet riddled. They suspect it was smugglers.

I may not be as ignorant of the plight in your area as you think.

It's a bad situation, agreed but has been that way for a long time.

You own a gun? Please stock up on ammo.

I'd want to have an almost endless supply of 5.56x45mm and .45acp, that way it's anyone's game late in the 4th quarter. lol

I am a NRA supporter and in the area you are in, you should be as well.

I am not a member of the NRA but I support what it stands for.

As for stock piling: I had to make a decision: Either buy a gun, or buy a guitar. Now its true that a guitar isn't gonna save me from a bullet . But I'm a staunch..(very staunch) supporter of black ops, and I can show you a dozen different ways to take down a man with a guitar. The crudest and messiest method is with a good platinum-wound G-String, , the next crudest is the solid maple Body section of the instrument. Another one is the re-grounding, shall we say, of live pick ups , but my most favorite method of all... is to swoon them with a song. Did I mention, I am talking about an audience... LOL!

As for real weapons, 45 acp is bad-ass. I prefer Desert Eagles, M4s and such. I guess you could say I'm less about precision and more about scorched earth. I love explosives and nothing would please me more than to drop a IED 'cherry bomb' into the toilet of a thug, and take bets on whether or not his magazine catches on fire.

As it is, I'm a peaceful warrior... Its a curse that I am forever burdoned with.

I am the NRA.

Though they often piss me off with their tangents.

7.62x51 ( .308 ) & 5.56 ( .223 ) rounds are intended to serve different tactical purposes in the modern combat ideation.

IMO for those of us limited to non select fire arms for defensive purposes the 7.62x51mm is the better choice.
Though I would not feel under gunned with either, I prefer the greater range, penetration, and terminal ballistics of the 7.62
( and would prefer to to deploy both in a "team" scenario )

As far as the defensive purpose of a handgun it's hard to deny the effectiveness of the .45ACP.
Though I am equally comfortable with the .357 in a revolver or the newer .40S&W round particularly in the Glock 22 platform.
Let's not forget the 12gauge shotguns effectiveness in CQD.

Recently heard a historian quip that of all the weapons deployed in the American Civil War, a simple two way radio would have been more decisive.
