The topic has leaked into winner status quo vs. the loser.

Kruliosis: No wife, no kids, just a guy living in a studio apartment who spends his time practicing, reading, writing, thinking, listening to the song he has to learn for next week, very close to having two bands right now with the goal to be able to pay the bills and everything as a musician solely...Loos*SCRATCH THAT*

I prepare to accomplish the goal I'm set out to do. I'm not lying when I tell you that all I do is prepare for what I'm set out, and supposed to do here on Earth. I LOVE the hunger, the challenge, the discomfort, the lack of luxuries that keeps me coming back with more than I knew I had in me.

Achieving my goals and dreams is my reason to be alive. God gave that all to me. Everytime I play it's all for him, then it's for me, then it's for the listeners.

And even if some comforts in life come into my lifestyle...I will find a way to step out of my comfort zone to get me where I want to be again.

Nothing wrong with song writers doing it all in a beach house with all their friends around and good wine to sip. Put me in a tent out in the fog with 9 volt battery Pignose amps, cassette recorders with built in microphones, a stack of spiral notebooks and 5-10 Library books for 3 weeks and I'll have some monsters created.

The perception of a winner in our society is just an illusion about security.

Life could be so simple if all we had to measure our life's success with is fame or fortune, but then again that would be what everyone would be seeking if it were all that. As if there aint' enough of that going on anyways. I could say I measure success by being alive today. Or that I have a beautiful loving family that respects me. That I've been there, stuck out the hard parts and provided for my family- My two boys are grown and are very respectable, knowledgeable, my wife a stay at home mother with skills you'd be very hard pressed to match by anyone's standards. We have lived here for 26 years. If I were to measure success, I'd ask myself, Self- are you left wanting anything that is too great, any goals you can't reach, any people you had the opportunity to help and didn't? Self, was your heart in the right place as you walked though life? Self, is there anyone that is not a fool look to you without respect? Will you make it to heaven and be welcomed with open arms? I only have the last question yet to answer for My Measure Of Success!

To call me a loser because I recognized that Chaeya hasn't said anything without you being attached-Oh Chaeya! Get a room! You say you can spot a winner when you see one, but you can't see the end of your nose. I sampled Chaeya's new song. Great work, her husband really Jams! No kidding! :)

Glenny, no one said anything about Chaeya or her work. Trying to put the focus on someone else is just your style you little worm. And YOU are the reason the chicks split; you try and hit on every woman that ventures by here. Pathetic.

All the things you are doing are great. How the heck do you think that pushes you into the "loser category" or think that I would push that in your direction.
I've listened to you music. I can't find one thing that says loser.

You need some thicker skin man.

You are just pitiful. Why don't you take up a hobby. Hey music is cool. How about guitar?
Your biggest fear is my description of good people, and maybe you are afraid you won't fall in that category.
I'm being nice,,,, for now.

Bah, don't worry about any of that. I posted that not long after my friend's memorial. I should clarify that I was a little more passionate than normal around that time, why else would I throw myself into a conversation that wasn't about me? :)
