Nothing wrong with a little R&R. Timing is bit off here and there...
Whole lotta woman.... Whole lotta Rosie
Reminds me a bit of ACDC/Motorhead...
Not too original but most early songs aren't (my assumption) keep working and rocking on it. I like seeing young people with some respect for another time in music. Means you are listening.

Thanks, I know the timing is off I forgot to say that there just rough copies of the finished product. They still need a bit of work and I get that here and there bout my first song but I didnt think it would be a big deal cause theres so many great songs that are based in E - A scale and thats were the first one is kinda going. And thanks again for commenting, It really helps.

Like it.

Would prefer a little more depth to the guitar tone.
Sounds really processed. Much like I did before I took the tube plunge.
The lows lack "thickness" and the highs are too " fuzzy " to my ear.

Thanks for posting and welcome.

Thanks dude,

What do you mean by depth exactly?

Since you are pressing the issue, I had too also. You know there are different levels of playing, so I'm not going pull any punches.
These are tracks are what I might use to set up a song.
All you have done is recorded some licks, with fake drums.
Sorry, If you take this the right way, you have a chance to grow.
Now go listen to all the people that are getting commercial airplay, including TV commercials and open your eyes and ears.
Think I'm being harsh? I'm not. Go read what I wrote about Wicked Slick. They are at a whole different level, and talent. That was harsh. But I was talking about about extreme talent that has to get to the next level.
You are only 21, I wish I had some more straight forward people not just sucking up. Funny but everyone forgets these top acts got there because of so much commitment and drive, not just luck. Good luck, take this seriously, but not to heart. :)

First of all you guys dont worry Im not gonna sit here and tell you to f**k off, What you tell me is what I need to know and hear. I know ''Radio kid'' sounds like whole lotta rosie but that song was recorded months ago and as time is going on Im getting better ideas yes I used fake drums I have no choice... Cause finding a drummer that plays rock`n`roll over here Id have a better chance finding a hooker without an addiction. I dont know you keep forgetting that these are just rough tracks form the finished product, They might sound familiar (Like Radio Kid) But sitting here with what I got now I leave it where they are and I sit here to see what else can go with the song to change it or to make it better and louder and take the advice you guys give. Cause for an example Im starting to not like the tone that I chose for the recordings sooo, saying that I am gonna re-record these songs when I do they`ll be back up on here.

- I dont take none of this to heart, I just turn up the speakers

Now that is hard to qualify in type.

But I'll try.

Listen two the tone of the average guitar though a solid state amp.

Then take the same guitar and play the same chord / note through a hot analog ( tube ) amp.

Or that same tube amp tone feeding a channel of the PA in live performance vs taking the feed from the amp.
( either mic'ed of direct out )
Into two channels, one panned 3/4 L the other panned 3/4 R.

Or in studio, an engineer with take the guitar backing tracks and double it.
Layering the sound to give it more "depth".
That's what I mean by "depth". Others will refer to the "thickness" of the wall of sound we are creating.

Not necessarily my friend.

You can still double tracks if you so desire.
You can also thicken up the sound by tweaking the mids some here or there.
Something I have to do live, depending on the environment.
Or a little compression.
( so I'm told, I have no experience with this aspect )

Ray utilizes LINE6 equipment and modeling amp. The use of active pickup on his new guitar really made a difference as well.

But then, that's really a minor consideration.
Especially in the light I'm listening on cheap ass speakers .

Quite right on sound. One reason I use the Strat Lonestar (US) model is that nice fat Pearly Gates humbucker. I like the Fender sound but it's always seemed to need a little more gumption like Les Pauls and such.

Amp is same deal. Now days some solid state amps can deliver the sound we all liked so much in tube amps. but what is "the sound?" Bands come in all sizes and shapes. I was wheeling and dealing once, and sold an old Standell solid state amp to a country artist. I hated that thing - just would not distort. The country fellow loved it dearly.

My first thought was where are the dynamics? But I've been recording through my computer this weekend using Audacity and it sounds like sh*t. Dynamics? It all sounds like a dull roar.

What did you record with?
