This is actually a musical post. It seems that you are running into all the same things a musician runs into, only this time as a writer, author. I saw your frustration from that last rejection, and also your resolve. You may be right, taking the steps needed to achieve your goals.
I don't think anyone here knows the other major side of Chaeya.

Chaeya Writes, and has more talent than 99% of the other people writing in this genre.

Caeya, your art work is fabulous, enough to make me want to read more.

Your propaganda page should have this sold in a heart beat.

Your story idea is so fresh, innovative, just great

The dialogue you write is so natural that it enhances every thought and motivation to advance your characters and your story.

The way you write some of your details just makes your story wonderful to read.
You should at least share the artwork for Srae Iss-Ka-Mala here, cause you are the real deal[just like Gwen and her writing]

Alright here is the musical part. Gwen is amazed that I can take a page of writing and turn it into one line of lyrics. I'm amazed that Gwen can take one line of lyrics and turn it into a story.
Chaeya, how the heck can you do BOTH. :)
I don't watch Oprah, YOU GO GIRL!!!!!!!!!

Oh Gwen's moving down the path of self publishing. Kindles are actually a great new way to get your work out there. The internet is going to become an equalizer in many ways. IF IT'S GOOD IT WILL GET OUT THERE.
This should be applied to music also. The difficult part is promotion.

We can overcome that,,, Right! :)

I would not touch your key board with a 10 foot pole after you writing about Cheaya even with a can of Lysol & a Gallon of Bleach and a pair of rubber gloves!

Oh bugger off you two, Glen's giving credit where it's due and he's my friend. You guys can snub me here all you want, so naaaaaah! :oP

It's easy to ho hum people and revel in telling them their stuff sucks. I mean, I watch my daughter who looooved "Twilight" by Stephenie Meyer, but as soon as it blew up, all of a sudden it isn't cool to like it anymore. Are you kidding me? I spent money buy all this crap and it's no longer cool? I don't care for it or the writing, but then it's YA and geared for a pre-teen market, but I celebrate what she accomplished as a writer. This woman was a regular working mother like many of me and my friends, but she gets big and everybody's like "ewww" towards her book and bashing it. Why do we do this? I don't get it.

I don't think people understand, writing is way harder than doing music. I spent five years writing this 125,000 word novel. I spent another three years just editing. My first critique partner told me it was f**k up it wasn't readable. So that pushed me to take a novel writing class, reading books on grammar, plot, character development, online classes on self-editing. So I worked my ass off on this book and the way it is now, like the story or hate it, it's written well.

This is the last rejection letter I got from a New York Literary Agent:

"Thanks for letting me read Srae Iss-Ka-Mala. It's clear you know how to write and have a great ability to create a strong and interesting heroine. Unfortunately, this book didn't knock me out of my chair. I wish you luck finding a home for it."

For those who don't know the writing industry, most authors get form rejection letters, when you get one that was personally written, then you know it's just a matter of finding someone who likes the story. This guy admitted to me that he doesn't handle most science fiction/fantasy, so I was already afraid he wouldn't like the story.

ANYWHO, Glen, I wrote Gwen a nice e-mail and I sent her a number of resources as far as publishers who would take her work. And I will be reading her story to critique it as well.

Here's my cover art. The real praise should go to Melissa Findlay. She's done covers for a number of publishers and she got my idea down perfectly, and she's fast.

Crunch, Jimmy, You guys are losers. You really should take a look at what a winner looks like, you might learn something. I see a lot of winners here, Sans has a Beautiful family, and been with a band that he has been part of and helped to make them sound great. Winner!! Paul, Beautiful family great musician, vocalist, Winner!!! Bob, great musician beautiful family, Loves fishing, Winner. Philby, Great musician, we don't agree on politics at all, Been through some tough times, great caring heart,Winner!!! Crip, Loves his family so much, working his butt off, playing in a band, pulling in extra bucks, having fun and making friends,,WINNER!!!! This list goes on....

Chaeya is so great because she is not afraid of hard work. When Cisco and her have a charting song or she has million copy seller,,, Then what are you going to say.

You two are so full of negativity,,,, LOSERS.

Wow, just wow. Funny, I watch you guys all fall over each other with compliments when you post a song, videos and whatnot. If Glen posted a thread to Paul telling him how badass he was or to George what a kickass video he made, everybody would just go with it.

But me, I get a shout out thread and the only reason anyone would like it is because I'm offering something sex-related only.

You guys get such a kick out of downing people, I don't think you know how to do anything else.

Glen already has unlimited flubbers, so he doesn't need to give me unnecessary shout outs.

Hey Klug.. YOU EDITED.........
About the time Chaeya joined, there were two other ladies tried to open a dialog with peeps here. They actually had beautiful voices and were as viable as any country artist I've heard.[MANY] A few of you guys ran them right off.
That's something I've been accused of. You know, Rat, Craig,Chippy.. Funny I'm still in touch with them.....

If you want to know,,,, Chaeya , Is very much much like my wife, deeply caring, extremely talented, and with enough courage to always believe in herself AND her loved ones. May some of you be so lucky.
I picked out Chaeya as a WINNER in one post.
I picked out Gwen in two sentences 28 years ago.
What does that mean? Probably not much when the winds of negativity blow. But at the same time Gwen is thrilled with Chaeya's book and Chaeya has shared some wonderful information with Gwen. NOW THAT'S WHAT I WOULD CALL THE BEGINNING OF A GREAT BAND.

I had nothing negative to say about Chaeya. It's only about you being connected to Chaeya by your nose. How do you get some how I said something negative about Chaeya. To call me a loser because I recognized that Chaeya hasn't said anything without you being attached-Oh Chaeya! Get a room! You say you can spot a winner when you see one, but you can't see the end of your nose. I sampled Chaeya's new song. Great work, her husband really Jams! No kidding! :)
