I was a concert promoter.
I "hired" bands.
It was MY JOB to amass an audience and present them with a good show.
If you were a quality act, I paid you to entertain MY crowd.
It was not the bands responsibility to sell my tickets, it was mine!
If you play a venue you deserve to be paid for it, whether it's your 100th gig, or your first!

If I perform you bet your ass I'm getting paid for not only my performance, but for the decades of heart and soul (and money) that I have invested in that performance.

FUK Clubowners and promotors that want a free ride from performers!!!
If you want a successful club, you provide a quality product for your patrons dollars. If you can't take the time to audition acts and promote your club as a quality venue that provides quality entertainment, then your just a lazy leeching dick that wants a no risk/high profit business...

So go be a whore on the street and leave artists and musicians and their years of dedication and hard work out of it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
