Go look up the statistics. 50 thousand bikers a year are killed, maimed and injured every year. Bikes have no air bags or crumple zones and the cost to society from injuries is staggering.
35 % of all motorcycle riders are not properly licensed are responsible for a major portion of dwi deaths. The cost to support these poor folks has become nothing more than an unnecessary burden to society when they phuck up.

We need more government control about this and things like sugared soda. How about banning open air smoking of Tobacco? What about good tasting food, it contributes to high cholesterol, and a greater chance of heart attacks, that can cause a greater burden on society.

We are talking about the same thing and I have to agree, Time to protect our society from outlaw behavior that motorcycles spawn.

LOL.. No... you are right on many points, Glen...I witness it first hand....right in front of my eyes I've seen guys being asswholes and crashing getting all bloodied and broken up all because they wanted to show off.. That's why I started riding alone about 2 years ago.... I used to ride in groups until I saw not only them putting other's lives in jeopardy but mine!

Riding in groups are dangerous; however, the biggest problem is I watch these duys on these racing bikes and they zoom up on my side or inching in between cars. I spend most of my time, looking around for bikers while I'm driving because I've had these cats just zoom up out of nowhere. The older or more seasoned bikers ride more responsibly.

The worst are bicyclists. If there were ever a bunch of jerks, it's these guys. They ride side by side, outside the bike lane, then they'll swerve right in front of you and then want to give you the finger.

Yeah but Chaeya, Bikes are so green, and doesn't that spandex get you going a little bit? You know the kind that doctors and lawyers prefer.

Doesn't it just want to make you "Reach out, Reach out and touch someone"
[that was a great jingle]

Much better than sheep. HUH  Keep up lady. LOL :)

Your weak attempt at humour and satire fails. If people want to kill themselves on motorcycles they have my blessing. We don't want your bike, we want your hand gun.

You cant have either, but if you must ... take my bike ...
Damn sight safer than trying to take my guns.

Got a family member now in ICU.

Been 7 maybe nine surgeries ... still going to lose a leg.

The way I see some of these guys riding ...

It's a wonder it's not 100% ...

i have a big cruiser, had it for a long time.i always go slow `cos i like to see the sights.the problem is the crotch rockets, most are young kids and like someone with a viper or vette they`re gonna want to see how fast it`ll go.it`s not the kids fault it`s the power to weight that`s to blame.

I think that anyone who rides recklessly should be ticketed accordingly. Anyone riding reckless;y with a passenger should get double the fine. Some people are good enough to get away with doing wheelies a mile up the freeway. Others, well doing a scratch on the pavement could get them a ticket. If the rider was aware of his surroundings, he may have noticed a cop scoping him out or a Pepsi truck ready to back over his ass.

They swarm like bees in San Francisco. It's utter chaos on Bike to Work day too - ambulance need to get someone to the hospital? Pffft - go around ...

Sorry Glen, but skinny men who look neutered in their spandex doesn't do much for me.

This is more like it:

Ha ha. My feet were hurting because I brought these Indian slippers (the gold ones that curl up in the front) well, they weren't made for walking, especially at the fair. So I had to go native that day. Took a long time soaking and scrubbing to get them back in shape.
