would an indie label be better for you than a major label

It really doesn't matter as long as the label is democratic. At least then you know they will spend money on your act. If it's a major label they might even spend money they don't have.

Indies can fu*k you just as well as majors. Although there are a few respectable indies I'd like to work with.
I guess I'd prefer to be on an indie. I don't think a major would give us what we want anyway.
